John’s analysis of the overall market brings out great ideas and puts the listener in a position to make informed decisions about their investments. I have been listening for the past 2 years and find this a great podcast. Love the new format if it means more real time analysis more times a week.

John is very different point of view than I normally hear. I especially liked the episode where he talks about the 5 main indicators for the economy. The only thing I don’t like is he doesn’t do more often episodes. They are fantastic.

John has brought a style that is refreshingly transparent, honest and filled with positivity without the “rose colored glasses”. This podcast has educated and entertained me. My finances and perspectives are definitely in better shape! Thanks!

Helps a lay person better understand what’s happening in the marketplace

John is anything, but a financial liar. It seems the entire industry sells based upon fear. That is not so with John. He always brings information and context that helps explain why events are either a big deal, or not. That is rather helpful.

Love this podcast. But the last few weeks have been crazy volatile and I’m wondering why he hasn’t produced a single episode. Is he undecided in terms of his long term outlook?

John Pugliano does an excellent job of covering a wide variety of investing topics and wealth building principals. He's a real straight shooter and tells it like it is so that you can take control of your investing and build more confidence in making decisions on your own. I started listening to the Wealthsteading Podcast pretty much from the start. I felt I needed something more advanced than listening/watching Dave Ramsey. Dave is great when you are in debt up to your eyeballs, but once you're past those baby steps and really building wealth, you need more information, knowledge, inspiration and that's what Wealthsteading delivers on. Great job Mr. Pugliano!

What a great podcast! John definitely does not try to sell any get rich quick scheme...this is get rich the slow way...earn, save, then invest. He is full of wisdom and I'm glad I found this podcast when I did, being in my early 30s with a wife and young kid. This podcast is great for anyone wanting to take control of their own finances, retirement, and liberty. There's no easy way to ensure your family's financial well-being, it takes time, consistency, work, and avoiding catastrophic losses. I will definitely reach out to John as a money manager when I have my warchest saved up! And I'll buy the Robots are Coming as a thank you for now. Keep it up, thank you!!

This is great podcast to build wealth

Ummm... the information you have discussed regarding tsp is pretty inaccurate. Just sayin.

All of the financial advice I wish I would have had 20 years ago! John is very generous to share his life-long wisdom in this podcast. I always find myself listening to the 10 wealthstedding principles over and over again to keep myself motivated.

John is a fantastic speaker, and shares his principles and insights so clearly that they all end up seeming like stuff you knew all along :) Where else can you learn the real wealth building principles if not here? Seems like all others are biased and are trying to sell you their gimmicky formulas or prop up their stock prices. Thanks John!

I appreciate John's insight. I learned of him from listening to The Survival Podcast with Jack Spirko. John's approach to investing was somewhat new to me - swing trading on a short to mid term basis. I appreciate his thoughts on entrepreneurship and disciplined saving. I have expanded my knowledge of investing significantly through this content.

I listened to a few episodes and thought that his ideas were a bit conservative in regard to money but it wasn't until I stumbled upon the freedom fest episode that I realized that John is everything that is wrong with the right wing. John made a claim that individuals should be allowed to carry knives on a plane. Are you out of your mind? Why the hell would you need a knife on a plane? This is what pisses me off so badly about the conservative mindset. Liberals don't want to carry weapons, they believe that weapons should be illegal. On the other hand, conservatives have this idea that they will be in the right place at the right time, with their weapon and save the day. How many times has that happened? I don't understand the reasoning. If no one has a gun, then no one gets shot. Anyway, John's philosophy on investing in interesting. He is ultra conservative and recommends buying gold and being out of the market. I agree that the market is overvalued but it may be the only place to get a decent return right now. There are much better investing podcasts out there that won't put you to sleep.

John explains market dynamics and how they affect our lives so we can make sound choices for the future. While there are plenty of media sources that scream with a sense of urgency that financial chaos dooms us all (except those buying buillion from that same source), this podcast is always calm. John doesn't tell listeners what to do or what to trade. He teaches HOW to analyze the market situation to minimize risk while generating revenue. Thanks, John!

John makes explaining markets trends and forces easy because it took him decades to master the topic and then he learned to make it digestible and interesting for beginners. I wish he would encourage people to start side businesses more often than he already does so people can earn even, save more and then learn to invest as he puts it. Excellent podcast at explaining a consistent message of takin g steps toward responsible wealth building to achieve financial independence. I'm grateful for all the work that John has done with little upfront return to him, simply giving to the commute. 130+ episodes down, I can't get enough.

In my early 30's and have always had a casual interest in the economy and markets but felt that gaining an understanding adequate enough would consume vast amounts of time, this podcasts walks you down the path in a very non-nonsense way. Has been a very eye opening source of information, and John acts as a coach without offering recommendations or advice specifically. Highly recommend.

I just found this podcast about a month ago and have already listened to probably 80 episodes. It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of learning how to really invest well. Most of what I had read up until I started listening to John advocated a buy and hold philosophy with the assumption that you can get 12% if you just pick the right mutual funds. John helped me realize how unrealistic and unwise those assumptions are and how I can use things like charts and moving averages to get a better return on my investments. I just turned 30, and I really think I'll be able to retire significantly earlier because of the principles I've learned from listening to this podcast. Thanks John!

The first 10 episodes are a must listen! Most of what John conveys in these episodes is common sense, if you were raised by financially responsible people. John tends to breakdown market trends, movements, and nomenclature of the investing industry for the non insider. He doesn’t try to sell his services in his podcast, just likes to speak out loud about what he thinks or does, as he likes to say. I really like the fact that he is articulate, speaks clearly, frankly, and the volume of his podcast is very good. I recommend this podcast to anybody that will listen. Keep up the good work John.

I genuinely look forward to every episode that comes out. Duration is just right and allows for rapid consumption, and if you get behind you can easily get caught up. Actively using guidance from this podcast in my investments and looking to incorporate the entrepreneurship principles in the future as well.

Very honest, current, information on the market - geared towards assets preservation and macro timing

I love the practicality of this podcast. It offers sensible up to date investment information, as well as long term advice for managing personal finances in a responsible matter. Highly recommend.

I've been reading and watching investment advice and how-to's for a while, and this is the best for a beginner or someone just trying to learn investing with the hopes of one day doing it. I don't know the vernacular so many podcasts and news programs loose me within minutes. John has a way of talking so you can quickly catch on while not being so beginner seasoned investors can learn from him also. Thank you, John, for your ability to reach the full spectrum of investors needs!

John does a great job giving you a reality check ("first work on being a saver, then you can be an investor"), working in aspects of being financially prepared ("it's ok to be in cash since that gives you flexibility"), and tells you how the market is behaving ("the personality of this market is ..."), and gives forecasts for what you might do. While he doesn't tell YOU explicity what YOU should do (and he can't, regs being what they are), it doesn't take much to read between the lines. He also says what HE is doing with his personal money, and I find that very enlightening and a differentiator from others in the finance space. I've been a listener since 2014 and have gone through all his casts and have gone back to the funtamentals for review on occassion. Within days of a new publication I'm on it and carving time out of my schedule to listen to him. The others in this space get my time when it's convenient for me. John has earned my attention, and he will earn yours as well.
