The Best New 52 Superman Podcast Around! Rebirth has begun and i'm along for the ride using this Podcast as a companion to the Action Comics reintroduction and classic continued numbering and the latest Volume of the greatest and first superhero , Superman.

It looks like it has been 2 years since the last review, so let me break that slump. This is a great weekly podcast if you are a fan of Superman, The insight he gives on each of the Rebirth Superman titles is great. This has quickly become a must listeb to podcast for me.

Even if the New 52 Superman comics aren't your cup of tea, you should be listening to this if you are a Superman fan. Jon M. Wilson has managed to take a group show and continue doing it without the rest of the group. He has good insight and humor about the material and makes me more interested in titles that I am not currently reading. He also is not afraid to tell you if he thinks a title is not preforming as well as it should. I look forward to each episode.

If you like podcasts that keep your pants on then move along because this podcast will blast your pants OFF! Jon M Wilson is the best friend you wish you had around when reading comics. He offers insights, jokes, and a third thing that makes reading New 52 Superman a thrill!

This podcast started with three hosts covering every Superman appearance in the New 52. Then one host left, then another, then there was a hiatus. But now the show is back. It's only one host now covering the trades instead of he individual issues, but it is still a very informative and entertaining show. True, I do miss the "good ol' days" but I do appreciate what we have now. And if you haven't already, go back and listen to those old episodes -- it's worth your time.

Jon likes to talk about Superman. He likes to pick apart comics featuring his favorite Kryptonians, and I am elated to listen! He knits together continuity across the new 52 DCU titles regarding the Superman family. He is a fantastic guide to the new 52 era of Superman, and has a great grasp of past continuities as well. There is passionate, in depth, and at times hilarious commentary that complements the comics very well. J David is a tremendous cohost when he is on the show. I hope this show lasts as long as the new 52!

I just got back into comics and have really started kinda trying to keep up with everything Superman. These guys have got me going back and reading the older books in the new 52 stuff and its just great to hear people talk about the character that are huge fans like me. Really funny show and they keep it moving so you dont get board. Thanks for coming back with some new stuff. Can't wait to start listening again.

Did you go on a rant on facebook or on a podcast for 30 minutes about the other poor ratings, I see you have now? Probably not. As an actual Radio Broadcaster in 5 different major top 10 markets in the past 30 years, and an actor for over 2 decades let me give you this tiny bit of advice: GROW THICKER SKINS! I can't believe I honestly hurt your feelings bad enough, that you wasted your bandwidth and money to rail against me on your show. And took time out of your busy life to do the same on Facebook. Grow thicker skins and grow up. Be well!

I just really enjoyed this podcast. I really hope that Jon and David are able to one day pick up where they left off. By far the best comic podcast.

These guys seem to have trouble putting together an original thought. Limited vocabulary, cliche-ridden.

Great podcast with excellent perspectives from three guys that know and love comics. Thoroughly discuss the story and art while providing an excellent synopsis of every issue. Do you love everything Superman? If so, this podcast is for you!

Hi Micheal, David, and John, I put John last since he usually get's mentioned first. Also I'd like to let you know that the new 52 are the first comics I've ever read so I'm kind of a newbie so please guide me into the world of comics LOL. Anyway, I'd like to start by saying I love your show, oh and that I'm typing this out while I listen to your 5th episode! Anyway I love your show and I'd like to say that before I found your show I was considering giving up on action comics because it was just so darn confusing. (Argh it's so hard to type while I can hear you guys talking in my headphones LOL.) But after I found your show I've decided to go over all my action comic books on my Ipad while listening to you guys review them, and its really helping me understand them, even though I haven't listened to your reviews on the more confusing issues yet. Also I'd really like to know what music you use for your show because it's really awesome! Anyway you guys are really awesome and your podcasts are getting me way more interested in the superman/action comics than I was before.

I'm a big Superman fan but I wasn't necessarily a fan of the New 52 reboot. I read the issues, but I had my problems with them. Listening to this podcast and listening to the guys, they're giving me the same stories I've read before, but through a new perspective that's made me re-think my stance on the titles. The episodes are only getting better and better and this is a show that deserves to be listened to.

Great podcast for anyone reading or would like to know what's going on in the current Superman family of books. This has become my favorite podcast and I look forward to every episode. Thanks for the great work guys.

I have been a fan of the Man of Steel since his death and more importantly the great stories for his Funeral and Return. Simply put, Jon and Dave's incite into Superman is amazing. I particularly enjoy the up beat tone of the shows and the hilarious innuendos. I have been reading all four titles in the Superman family since the beginning of the 52, and I thought that I was enjoying them. Well at least three of the four, but Superboy is getting better. The reason that I said that I thought that I was enjoying them was because after listening to the shows I have had the need to reread the issues. Wow! I can't believe all the great stuff that I missed on my first read through. I never even noticed Pandora, until I heard about her here and then went on my "Where's Waldo" search through all my number ones. Dave and Jon really shed light on these titles and have increased my enjoyment tremendously. Their enthusiasm for the charcater is infectious. For many, many years I was a Wednesday fanboy and picked up my comics at my local comics book store. I now live in BFE and can't make it to the store very often, and as a result I read my comics on my iPad. The thing I missed the most was the long discussions that I had in the store with my fellow fans. I say missed because now I have Jon and Dave with me for my 2 hour commute from hell. Keep up the great work gentlemen!

I've never been a big reader of comics in the past but the New 52 has been a chance for me to get on board with a continuity from the beginning. This podcast has been great for getting a different perspective on the books I do read such as action comics and superman as well as finding out more about the books I'm not reading. Superboy and Teen Titans being a couple of books I'm not reading and so far not regretting it. Thanks for taking the time to do this podcast because you really don't have to and I'm enjoying the entertainment. Good Job and ...HEY check out the guy in the blue suit :)

The great cast really help bring together this great cast about the original journalist-hero. Horrible attempt at puns and rhymes aside. Thanks to this I started picking up Supergirl and I haven't regretted it since, especially thanks to Mahmoud Asrar's art. I've been reading Superboy before I started listening but this podcast has absolutely cemented my...dislike...of Scott Lobdell's scripting and how good Tom DeFalco's writing can be. I only began reading comics last November and when I heard Sam Lane's characterization, I immediately thought to myself: "Why does he remind me so much of General Ross?" Now that I know that this version was creating by a former Hulk writer, this makes a lot more sense.

Before the new 52 I had not read any comic books I was always interested but was too afraid of the continuity issues. Luckily for me dc decided to relaunch. I was really looking forward to batman but for some reason superman caught my eye. I had never liked superman because I thought he was generic and overpowered but the new 52 has got me hooked! And so does this podcast. This cast knows what they're talking about and they go into such detail for every issue picking up on things I missed making me go back and re read the issue which is always fun. They know how to have a good time and also be very professional. I had found myself laughing along with them as though we were all hanging out talking superman. I'm glad that I have this podcast to guide me into the wonderful world that is Superman. Keep up the good work and can't wait to listen to new episodes.

This is a great podcast that makes sure to talk about every aspect of the current super books. The banter is funny and doesn't take away from the coverage at all. Another good thing about the show is that not everyone on this podcast is a superman fan, so you get many perspectives on the stories.

I only knew of this podcast for less than a 3 days and I already completed the first 5 episodes. If you are a fan of Superman and comics then this is the podcast for you. John, David, and Michael cover every appearance of every member of the superman family in the new 52. They will most definitely offer new insight to what is happening with superman right now. They all have a great chemistry and are really fun to listen to. Everything is talked about from listeners emails and reviews to how to sew a indestructible cape! This is the conversation that you will get no where else. This podcast also offers the most fair and balanced reviews of the new 52 that I have seen. Awesome job guys!

Great companion to the comics on a character shrouded in so much history. Love your love for Supes, it's infectious!

I just want to say that Jon & the gang do an absolutely superb job of discussing the superman comics in the new 52 continuity. You guys are quite entertaining and I look forward to listening everytime there's a new show. Please do not let this podcast go the way of the Might Shield, ASM Classics, Marvel Star Wars etc.... Now if we can get a new 52 Batman podcast going, life would be even better....

John, David and Michael are an extremely entertaining and knowledgable trio of hosts. Their love and devotion to Superman and his family of characters is clear. Whenever I listen to them discuss the Superman books, I feel like I am listening to some of my close friends. And although they all love Superman, they have differing opinions which is nice. If you like Superman and are reading the DC New 52, you should be listening to this show.

I'm so glad I found this podcast. The guys are funny yet insightful. They go indepth into each of the main Superman related title providing loads of information that I find find interesting. I can't recomend this show enough.

continues to be one of my favorite comic book podcasts, and not just because they read my email! thanks for that by the way. i never had a letter printed back when i was a kid, so i imagine this is what it felt like. keep it up, fellows.

What a relief to have finally come upon a comics podcast that isn't a steaming bowl of diahrrea. These guys are smart, have well-formed well-reasoned opinions, and are never dull. There are also moments of unexpected hilarity. This is the first podcast I've checked out from the superman podcast homepage, and I plan on checking out the others now as well. Highly recommended.

This podcast is a wonderful and comprehensive coverage of all of the Superman-family books in the New 52 along with all of his other appearances. While it is great having so many podcasts delving into the past of Superman such as From Crisis to Crisis, Golden Age Superman, etc. it is nice to have a show that covers what is going on right now in the comics and gives them just as much care as any other book. Fantastic job guys can't wait for the next one.
