Worst host ever. Painstakingly made it through one episode to hear the topics covered and will never listen again.

I love how you discuss a variety of topics ranging from building a new home, to saving costs on utility bills. Keep up the good work!

There’s some good information here, but if you’ve ever watched parks and rec, the announcer, sounds like Perd from the news… which can either be a bit grating or funny if you look at it from a different angle.

Learning a lot but wow, the host sounds so fake and annoying.

If the host just talked like a normal person instead of trying to be a sports announcer I would listen to this.

I purchased my house 2 years ago but still listen because I find it a very worthwhile listen. A good mix of realtors from different regions, bankers, investors and my favorite… “hot or not.” I see some complaints about the host and I initially felt that way but have grown to like him and find him enthusiastic about the content.

I know this will come across as harsh. I come back to this podcast from time to time looking to see if any changes have been made. And nope, no luck. The host’s scripted fake radio voice drives me away again and again. I usually enjoy the content but the scripted program is terrible. He’s probably a great radio personality somewhere or “voice over” actor. This is not the place for him. Real estate Podcasts are meant to be casual conversations with experts for not only content but for learning as well. I don’t think I have the patience to return for another Follow.

The host is waaaay too enthusiastic. Sounds forced and fake. Hard to listen to.

I just started listening to this podcast. It’s not bad but has two issues. 1) topics could be gone into with more depth and 2) the host needs to go. He sounds so fake and scripted! Of all the podcasts I listen, this host is the worst. A new host with single topic per episode would be a vast improvement. As I look at other reviews, the same is mentioned by many others. Doesn’t sound like the producers of this podcast are paying attention or care. They don’t respond to reviews or make changes when so many have the same issue.

The content is amazing however, the host is very hard to listen to. I think most people listen to podcasts because they want to hear from real people. The host couldn’t sound more fake.

I’m a very new home buyer with no background in real estate but these people talk to the audience like they are speaking to children. The guy sounds like a bad parody of a 90s era late-night infomercial with stupid laughs inserted where nothing funny was said and enthusiastic responses that make no sense. It’s not all their fault, whoever writes this tripe needs to be fired. Hire two real estate experts to just sit down and have an actual unscripted conversation about the market intelligently and it would be light years better. I NEVER write reviews, but this podcast is so terrible I just had to.

I’m thinking that either the listening audience knows nothing about real estate or the lame host thinks he’s talking to someone in elementary school.

I have to wonder if NAR reads these reviews because they are very similar: The information is good; the moderator is not. The interviews are definitely not being conducted live or even by the moderator so why does he have to talk like an infomercial. I'm not asking that he lose his job, just tone the moderation down quite a bit.

Might be a worthwhile listen if the host sounded like a human being

Hoped to learn a lot. I could get past the excessive emphatic speaking from the host if there was substance, but it’s a superficial check in with each guest. The guests barely get to share and don’t go deep into any topic. Feels more like a stream of plugs than actual helpful or informative information.

Good information but it’s really hard to get past the host. The whole show sounds like a cheesy commercial.

This could be a good show but the host is so bad it’s almost condescending. Maybe get someone who doesn’t talk like he’s reading a kids book?

This feels super out of touch and phony. Laura Adams was a guest telling people to get a side hustle and maybe sell a car and ask family for help. Honestly, this sounds like the most privileged take. Like we have a second car to sell or have any time off from our already time consuming jobs. The advice for millennials was condescending and Steven just finds everything to be sooooo interesting. Geez.

Everything is built around the National Association of Realtors. So you’re only going to get information that grows that industry. Who advises you to consult a realtor to figure out your finances? Realtors get paid commission and don’t have any fiduciary requirements. It sounds like he has a paid sponsor for every word. Don’t get me wrong, make some money but I had to FF through about 40 minutes. Maybe it’s just me

This is an interesting podcast with a lot of good information for those in the RE industry. Overall a good production.

First, let me get my biggest gripe out of the way. They use the same cheesy stock music clip over and over throughout the show, many times running way longer than necessary. The show itself is very repetitive and stretched far more than necessary, though it does occasionally give some good information. The host delivers information and conducts interviews in a stiff, wooden manner. It always sounds like he is reading from a script. I'd rather hear a more natural delivery.

I listed to much of the "buy that house" podcast and was thoroughly disappointed. Very little provided as far as real, helpful tips in the process. Felt like they were just trying to get you to buy a house with tips like "UNBELIEVABLY low interest rates" and don't let a bad credit score hold you back. Also felt super produced and inauthentic.

I enjoy listening to the program each week. It’s a quick & easy way to stay up to date on the real estate industry!

This was not edited properly to be a podcast. It's just a pure dump of their syndicated show to MP3 format. Its a terrible experience. It takes well over an hour to hear 5 minutes worth of interesting information. The new is repeated like 20 times...and it's not really news, it's just whatever positive real estate numbers they could dig up in this downturned market to convince you to use a realtor. I never would have questioned the costs associated with hiring a realtor until I heard this load of wasteful spending. Now I'm going to think twice I'm just really shocked that no one thought to properly edit this for a podcast format. We don't really need to hear the news 100 times within an hour. ...although I am very impressed with the announcers knowledge of real estate. Too bad he's forced to spew out this BS.

One hour and 30 minutes. This show repeats itself constantly throughout the show after playing that terrible house is rocking song. I can learn 5x the info googling questions in 10 minutes instead of listening to this guy repeat himself. Terrible podcast. Sorry
