    R.I.P. BIS
Well guess that’s it. No more BIS, no more support for NYU coming from me. Tim Sweeney you are a gentleman and a scholar of the sounds. You will be GREATLY missed. NYU you will not.

    Beats in Space is
Best eclectic podcast. Weekly. Tim does a great job as selector (both when spinning himself or selecting which do are on). The one show which is hard to define by genre. Very open. Listen and enjoy!

How does this not have 10,000 5-star reviews?
If you care about music, you need to listen to this podcast. You will know what is happening about a decade before everyone else. Also the mixes Tim and the guests put out are amazing.

    Ohhhh Yeeaah!
Thank god for this podcast because I'm so sick of the same ol cheesy tweaky bs all the other douches play everywhere. Great taste in tracks selection all around.

    Nostalgic and relevant

    The best!
If I could only have one thing on my iPod, this would be it. The guest sets are always great, and Tim does an amazing job at constantly digging up new things to play for us and blending old things together in new ways. I'd really only recommend for people that get bored easily listening to the same songs everyone else is playing.

    LEGIT
This is a very solid, structured ballet of what I am looking for within electronic music these days. A near perfect conundrum of disco, new wave, breakbeat, electro thump, and four to the floor enticing tempos that truly captivate any enthusiast of timeless melodies. A top tier mix for any occasion, BUMP

I have been a loyal podcast listener for three years.
I have yet to be disappointed by Tim Sweeny and the great 'mix' of DJs that make their music heard every Tuesday night. Happy 10th Anniversary!

    Each set a little masterpiece
It never ceases to amaze me how Tim's sets weave incredibly diverse styles of music (house, disco, techno, funk, post-punk, etc.) together so seamlessly. Each show is a unique experience unto itself that can run the gamut from moody and mellow to full blown party jams. The guest sets are no exception, serving as a vehicle for experimentation by top DJs from across the spectrum (Carl Craig, Michael Mayer, James Murphy, Hot Chip, Padded Cell, etc., etc.). His fellow jocks embrace these opportunities and grace Tim (and us) with sets that often push the envelope of a standard club set. What's more, Tim is clearly an astute observer of music, both past and present, and the originality and diversity of the sets you'll hear on this show are proof. Don't sleep!

    Beat Master
You should check yourself into a mental ward if you don't subscribe to Tim's podcast, which is ALWAYS an amazing two hour set of alt/punk/dance/funk/disco/80's dub/new wave/house/electro heaven...unless of course none of those styles appeal to you, in which case, download Paris Hilton or The Who.
