Family Disappeared

Have you lost contact with your child? What about your parent, or grandparent, sibling, or any other family member? You might be experiencing estrangement, alienation, or erasure. All of these terms speak to the trauma and dysfunction that so many families face.

A family is a complex living and breathing system. Each member plays a role in the family dynamic. When families carry generational trauma and/or experience new trauma, challenges, or dysfunction, this can result in a break in the family system.

These reaction strategies are habitual and very often interwoven into every aspect of how our family interacts.

Hi! I´m Lawrence Joss and I’ve learned that I need to cultivate a spiritual, emotional, and physical relationship with myself in order to have healthy relationships with others and everything in my life. It is my mission to help you create and nurture that relationship with yourself first and provide you with tools that might help you heal and strengthen family relationships.

This podcast is an opportunity to explore our healing journey together through the complexities of our families.

    Biased against estranged parents
They claim they include estranged parents, but they are actually biased against any estrangement that is not part of a divorce. They claim divorced parents are victims and estranged parents are at fault.

    Groundbreaking work for Parental Alienation
These podcasts are a wonderful Segway between group meetings, meeting with my sponsor and sponsees. They are extremely well done with authentic sharing about a difficult journey that none of us would have chosen. This recovery program meets you where you’re at while gently leading you out of the downward spiral that PA can often be. My life and relationships with my children have completely changed since finding PA-A 2 -1/2 years ago. In doing the step work, attending meetings, and continuing to do this work, I have now re-established a relationship with my children after 30 years. I’m forever grateful!♥️🙏♥️

    Family Disappeared
The dynamics of a child refusing to see another parent is not a binary situation. Children who refuse a parent are not always “manipulated” they may be ABUSED and they do not feel safe with that parent. You are not talking about that at all in this episode. Lynn Strindberg seems completely unaware that she may be “reuniting” kids with abusive parents.

    Important Contribution, excellently presented
Parental alienation is a vast untouched concern experienced daily by millions of estranged parents, grandparents & children. With a background in 12-step programs and many other psychological and spiritual modalities, Lawrence decided to bring this serious issue into the light of day. He has done so masterfully and comprehensively. Now people the world over who have had few forums in which to express the gravity and life-upheaval of this difficult, all-too-common occurrence have a safe, knowledgeable place to share, learn and get significant support from Lawrence and an international community of others dealing with these familial challenges. An articulate presenter and a compassionate guide, Lawrence’s podcasts are warm and enlightening for any parent, child or family member, and fill a great void for those experiencing PA personally. Thanks, Lawrence, for this brilliant contribution.
