The Lord sent me Elizabeth Elliot several months ago, via YouTube, and this podcast has been such a blessing to my growth as a Christian woman. I immediately started listening from episode one and I’ve just passed 100 episodes. About three years ago, our Lord led me out of feminism and the career world and I recently started a housekeeping business that brings me so much joy, serving God in simple ways by offering all my work to the Lord, where I often get to witness to women just like I was, with all that I do. It’s wonderful to have these radio programs and talks to listen to while I work. They contain some real spiritual meat that is helping me grow in maturity with God in unexpected ways. I have so much more peace since listening to her timeless, grounded, simple biblical wisdom in an era of confusion and modernization in the church, which I fled from in the culture after a personal revelation of Jesus Christ. I’m so grateful for the Elisabeth Elliot foundation for continuing her legacy so we can all have these wonderful resources. Thank you for all you do!

Elisabeth Elliot is a spiritual Mom to me (David Wilkerson a spiritual dad). Her wisdom and quietness of heart have ministered to me more than I can write in this note. I’m, a 53 year old man. By second birth, I turned 7 in February. By the grace of God, i’m a former drug addict, formerly homeless, and formerly suicidal. I live with a rare disability, which, according to doctors, should have left me blind by now. I was not raised in a Christian home, but had/ have praying relatives. Jesus interrupted my writing of a suicide note in 2018, gave me hatred for my sin, allowed me to repent, and be born again. Elisabeth Elliot is one of His many gifts to me. I love her use of hymns, and get so excited when she recites one i’m familiar with. She taught me the words to In Heavenly Love abiding, which i love singing with my guitar. I used to be a bonafide hellraiser. Now i get excited to hear Elisabeth Elliot talk about how she keeps a quiet heart. I don’t know exactly what the Lord is doing with me; i just thank Him for doing it. Elisabeth has helped John 12:24 to be written on my heart. “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone, but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.

I’m so thankful to the Lord for all the teachings He has given me through Elisabeth. I didn’t grow up in a godly family but I she is now my godly family. The Lord is growing me in the knowledge of Him and making Christ like through these recordings. Thank you!

This podcast caused my Pokémon cards to mysteriously disappear. I looked everywhere and found them next to an Elizabeth Elliot photo on the floor (that I had never owned or seen before). I used to go to sleep listening to the podcast, but then I got scared because when I turned it on, I started hearing her voice! Elizabeth Elliot is haunting me, and I hope that she doesn’t write me another letter anytime soon. 1 star!

Absolutely love the legacy of Elisabeth’s wisdom and her submission to Christ. Every woman, young and old, can benefit greatly from her teachings!

Elizabeth Elliott has become my spiritual mentor. I am forever grateful to God for this podcast.

My mother and I began listening to EE in the mid 1980s. I credit EE for helping my mother and I become strong Christian women. My mother has passed away now and I still relish everything EE teaches. She wasn’t ashamed of the true gospel and declares it openly and clearly. The principles she teaches are from the very Bible itself and they transform a person‘s life. I’m a living testimony of that.

Praise the Lord for the faithfulness of this dear saint, Elisabeth Elliot! Truly like she said in her radio program, she is a friend to me and this because she is a friend to Jesus. Though I never met her, her words have met me powerfully, and I consider her one of my greatest disciplers. She held steadfastly to the word of God by His Spirit and taught of Him with sincerity and simplicity. My love for Christ has grown significantly as I have learned to trust and obey Him through the example Elisabeth provided. Thank you to all who are involved in keeping her programs available!

I think my closest friends have gotten used to the phrase that has consistently left my mouth over the last six months, “I know I’m a broken record. But I was listening to Elisabeth Elliot last night while I was doing the dishes, and she said…” I have found this podcast priceless…I have long searched for a “godly older woman” role model to look up to. It’s especially helpful when they have left a legacy like hers. I can say confidently I have found that in Elisabeth. I have shared many of these messages. Laughed with the stories. Cried with the deep truths. Thank you for sharing her messages, to this pastor’s wife, homeschooling, mother of 5…they are gold. 👏🏼

This podcast has been such a blessing to me at this stage of my life where I have needed daily, down to earth, spiritual discipline that applies to my every day life. I listen to it as often as I can especially on my way to and from work. The promises she quotes from Scripture have been a great strength and comfort to me, especially the verse she quotes from Isaiah that “The Lord God will help me!” I find myself quoting these truths often in my head now. Thank you for sharing her life and work with us through this podcast. I knew about her during my growing up years and read her biography a couple years ago. Hearing her in everyday life and listening to her teach has been a great window into her life and relationship with God. I feel like I really know who she was now and what she lived for. Thank you!

Listening to these recordings of Elisabeth Elliot’s talks and radio shows has been the very balm I have needed over the last several months. I thank God for leading me to this podcast, and I have come to think of Elisabeth Elliot as my wise and godly older sister who has been there and done that. She tells it like it is and doesn’t coddle the listener or soft peddle the truths found in God’s Word. I wish I could give her a hug and thank her.

I absolutely love to listen to this podcast! It is always so encouraging! I don’t understand why there is an “explicit” rating, that must be a fluke, because I have not heard anything explicit on here! I highly recommend it.

I was in college in the 80’s & was discipled thru Elisabeth by her books. When I met her in 1988 I was so beside myself. This podcast fills in so much with all her stories, hearing Jim Elliot’s voice & hearing from friends & family. I love learning from her still & so thankful for this labor of love podcast.

I am 29 and found EE 2 years ago. I am a stay at home homeschooling mother to 2 and this podcast is a huge part of our life. I have gained wisdom, confidence, compassion, determination, understanding.. so much from this podcast. I share my understandings with the children's class at church, too. Thank you. So valuable.

I have recently discovered the Elisabeth Elliot podcast in the past few months. I listen everyday and have been so encouraged and challenged by her messages. I have been telling everyone I know to listen. Each time I listen I am more and more challenged to not be ruled by my emotions, but by God’s word. I’m so thankful this show has been put into podcast form to reach a whole new generation for Christ!

2 years ago, my sister gifted me the book “Becoming Elisabeth Elliott.” I had heard of her before that, but didn’t know much about her. Since reading that book, she has become someone I look up to very much, and I’ve read several other books about her and by her. I don’t listen to podcasts very often, but when I do, it’s usually this one. I often send episode links to my parents, sister and husband. Thank you for providing these talks by Elisabeth. They have encouraged me as a wife, mother, and child of God so much!

This podcast is such a blessing in my life. I enjoy listening to Elisabeth speak truth. She helps me keep my focus on God and reminds me to do all that I do for his glory.

I had not heard of Elisabeth Elliot until a friend shared this podcast with me. I have listened to every episode and look forward to each Sunday and Wednesday when a new episode is released. When I listen, I glean valuable and applicable wisdom to apply to parenting, marriage, and my daily life as a Christian. This podcast is a true asset to my time in the car and while completing chores at home.

My family has been so blessed by Elisabeth Elliot. From when I was a young High Schook girl and read “Passion & Purity” to my college days of reading “Through Gates of Splendor” I have been encouraged by a steadfast faith. What a marvelous LORD we serve and friends that He gives us to walk with us through joy and grief.

This podcast has been a huge blessing from the Lord that I see flourishing in my life everyday. The words and wisdom of Elisabeth Elliot have helped shape me into the wife and mother that I am and that I am becoming. She is one of God’s gifts to women, thank you for allowing God to use her even after her passing.

There are no words to describe how wonderful it is to hear Elisabeth Elliot again! I use to listen to her every weekday morning from 9:00-9:20 when my children were young. Her talks are just as relevant today as they were 30+ years ago. Just wish the podcast was every day!🙂

I’ve been a fan of Elisabeth’s since I was a teenager in the 90’s— I enjoyed the couple of books I read then, and they definitely impacted me. But I forgot about her in my child rearing years, and she fell off my radar, until my sister suggested this podcast when I was going through some difficult stuff I’m my life. I remembered how impactful she was when I was young, so at 45-ish years old, I pulled up this podcast, and started at the beginning. To say this podcast has changed me and my viewpoint of life would be an understatement. Elisabeth’s no-nonsense message about God’s sovereignty, and her delivery of her message is precisely what every Christian needs in their lives. There is no fluffy self help message here. She will not tell you to take care of yourself first, or that you are good enough. Her talks are honest, they’re sometimes hard, and they are like a lecture from a little old grandmother who puts you back on the correct path with a little box to the ears. I always walk away from an episode with a renewed focus on God and not self, and that’s what we all need in this day and age. I only regret that I didn’t read her other books when my kids were young.

I’m grateful for the life and obedience of Elisabeth Elliot. She challenges me to total surrender to Christ without shaming me for the struggle. Thank you for producing these podcast gems!

I have listened to eleven or twelve of Elisabeth Elliot’s episodes on dating, marriage, and the like and I love them. She was such a wise and godly woman and I am so glad that her talks have been preserved so that we can still listen and learn from her. As a fifteen-year-old, I am very glad to have listened to and learned from her episodes to store away and set boundaries for myself before I enter this particular part of life, and I will continue to listen to her. She may seem outdated to some but the rules can stay the same regardless. The Bible is the same; God’s rules regarding purity and sexuality can stay the same. I love how she reminds us of the roles of men and women and how instead of being angry at the differences, we should celebrate them and accept with gratitude the roles we have been given. She has encouraged me in many ways. She was not simply a “rules” lady but a woman after God’s own heart who, with kindness and humility and some humor, aspired to share both her story and explanations of Biblical questions. I highly recommend for any person, male or female, young or old, single or married.

In a world full of lies, Elisabeth shares truth, wisdom, and hope from her experience walking closely with God.

I’ve been listening to Elisabeth Elliot now for maybe the beginning of last year. I’m not sure, but I just play all her episodes. I have my setting for unplayed, and I just go from there. I love her wisdom, her discernment she is definitely a woman I look up to, thank you so much for posting all of the previous lessons that she has taught us♥️

I was given a book about Elisabeth Elliot’s life. I knew of her and her husband and what they did as missionaries but I didn’t look much deeper than that. Reading her story, and listening to her speaking has changed my life. I’ve become a better more patient mother, I know how to incorporate God into my children’s daily life, I better know how to respect and submit to my husband, and best of all I have the tools to draw closer to God.
