I love the chemistry between you two and the research you do is fantastic! The only downside lately has been with very poor editing in the Restricted Stalker and Samantha Sperry episodes. Lots of redundancy. * updated review Still good, overall. I like that you tell stories no one else is reporting on. However, Allison’s vocal fry is very irritating. Also, the long, drawn out intro monologues are so unnecessary, just tell the story.

I love Coffee & Cases. Allison and Maggie are so genuine and great story tellers. You can tell they do their research and deliver the cases with class. I love both their laughs and when Allison says “whaaaat” when shocked by something Maggie says. Keep up the great work!!

9/13/24 update: just updating to say I still love the podcast! I look forward to a new episode each week. Also love when you cover more recent cases from the past 5-10 years. Love these ladies! They did a great job on the Brittany Stykes case.

I appreciate the way their conversation of horrible crimes is sensitive to the families of the victims and the focus is on solving the crime. Their research is comprehensive and well presented.

I binged all their past episodes and now I wait (not so) patiently for the new ones!

Truly enjoy the conversation between these two friends. I also like that they’re shining light on some unknown cases. Great work.

I love listening to the show and appreciate the genuine friendship between the hosts. I am amazed at Allison’s memory. Every time Maggie brings up an old case, Allison identifies the victim by name (random tidbit, but something I’ve noticed as I’ve been making my way through every episode).

I love this podcast!! They are knowledgeable, compassionate, easy to listen to and there isn’t a bunch of F-bombs being dropped. The personal narrative at the beginning usually has me in tears. They make the person and events real and relatable, and that is so important! Thank you both for all you do and congrats on that precious little one! I love a good true crime podcast and I’m trying to enjoy this one. I let go of the clear bias of two country white women who starts off a little ignorant because everyone deserves a chance to grow but the latest ad choice of blatantly supporting the genocide in Palestine is off putting and disturbing.

Recording is really bad. Allison’s voice is distant and a little staticky, and Maggie’s voice blares through too loud. No happy medium. I hope this gets fixed since it makes it difficult to listen to.

Not know it alls reading a script

Not even the name is original as I searched there are a few others with the same name. But, I gave several episodes a try. The first was complaining about the lack of information and the length of the program. The actual case started almost 14 minutes in 🥲 They obviously printed a script and the reader loses her place a lot. The audio is SO bad. One in a closet and one with an echo. Sound is big in the podcast community and this is a 1 star or less for sure. They both also say “um hhmm um hhmm” a lot. I will assume that they begged for reviews and the small group of fans left 5* This is not the case in my opinion, making this a PASS on it!! Girls listen to the show and make edits. You can’t think this is perfect and push the upload button.

I’m late to the party but the ladies are like friends I’ve known forever. It’s taken me several weeks but I’m caught up and sort of sad that I have to wait for new episodes now. The stories are thoroughly researched and the tone is always respectful and their caring spirit comes through every time. And there’s just enough chatting to get to know them.

Ladies - I love your show, and now you have completed me 😉 I am 51, and lived in Caledonia, NY for 29 years, driving past Tammy Jo’s headstone hundreds of times and never knowing her story - and now I do! Thank you so much for covering this case. I am shocked you have even heard of it.

Overall it’s good - I do love Allison and Maggie - I stumbled upon this podcast recently - as a true crime fan/follower of podcasts/tv for decades I feel like some have gotten just too gruesome for me rather than informative. Lately not liking that the episodes have been about babies/children/teens which is a little too difficult for me to listen to bc of the depravity/disturbing nature so I skip them. Miss listening but have to wait for others. These ladies are doing their best to bring awareness to cases that need attention, I admire them for that regardless of personal opinions. The cases are well researched, the ladies clearly care and they’re respectful. A BIG bummer is the ads for buying “miniature gun” models in the episodes I’ve listened to - collectors can find those sites on their own not sure it’s the most appropriate choice for this show. In the earlier episodes it sounds like constant foreboding music in the backround - hope that’s fine for good. Maggie reading a script can be hard on the ears at times but I’m still a total supporter of these gals and love C&C - just feedback to consider.

I found Allison & Maggie through the Mother’s Day podcast that was released by another favorite I listen to. I have binged them since, I started at the beginning and I’m working my way through. I love the format and it feels like I’m listening to friends explain these cases. Keep up the great work ladies!

I heard about this podcast through the moms & mysteries podcast and just had to check it out! I love it! I try to find thought provoking podcasts that are informational and this one is great! Extra bonus is that these gals are super professional and don’t use vulgar language - something that means a lot to me! Thanks ladies for your great work!

It’s nice to find a true crime podcast void of vulgarity, obscenities, and politics from the hosts. The hosts Alison and Maggie work well together and don’t spend an excessive amount of time chatting outside of the story, just enough for the listener to get to know them. I like how they are open to covering lesser known and haven’t received attention cases. They are podcasters with hearts and empathy for the families of the victims they cover.

My all time FAVORITE cold case podcast! I have been listening to 3-4 episodes a week and I am almost all caught up. It is making me sad to think I will have to cut myself down to 1 a week! Maggie and Allison are the best hosts and do a wonderful job researching and telling each case. You can tell they have hearts of gold and really care about each and every victims case. They have wonderful intros and most of them tie in personally to themselves. Keep up the great work ladies! You two definitely make this world a better place!

Why do podcasters think people want their take on everything? I don’t want all the chit chat. I just want the story.

I clean all day long. I have to find something to listen to 6/7/8 hours a day. I love hearing cases these girls cover. I am glad I stumbled across their podcast. Keep pushing out content gals.

I love listening to Maggie and Allison cover cases. Most recently they covered the Tiffany Valiante case. This happened the next town over from me and it really shook, and continues to shake, the community. Thank you for bringing light to these cold cases every week!

A great true crime podcast! So glad I found this gem!

While I LOVE a good True Crime podcast, one thing I don’t love is the colorful language that so many other podcasters feel is necessary to tell their stories. Coffee & Cases does a great job of just telling the story to help get justice for the victim. That’s exactly what I want to hear in a True Crime podcast! The girls are so funny & their personalities are so sweet! I could totally picture myself hanging out & having coffee with them someday!

Love the southern twang! Enjoy hearing Allison and Maggie’s thoughts and feelings as they peel back the layers of the case. Very binge worthy.
