When Keffer left it obviously went downhill, but, wow this dude just doesnt know football, or is at least trying to learn football while giving us his “professional opinion”. He spews obvious analysis that any dude on the couch knows. No insightful or unique perspectives, no inside info, or any top notch X’s and O’s talk… Im sorry but I gota give up on this podcast.

I was a big fan of this podcast during its debut year. Keefer and Holder were fantastic at reporting insightful, thoughtful and entertaining news updates about the Colts. This was one of my go to news sources for the Colts. After the departure of Keefer and Holder it seems the Athletic also departed from this podcast (See name change that is always, but never coming soon). The quality of the content has dropped as hard as this project was dropped onto Boyds lap. I recently tuned in to listen to the reaction from Ballards recent presser and was disappointed at the bias and shallow takes by this podcast. Free Boyd from whatever requirement is forcing the Athletic to keep this content running.

3 star pod with keefer and boyd. without keefer it’s unlistenable, zero in depth analysis. just talking about different players and overarching franchise stories. don’t trust boyd’s opinion on football at all.

When Zach was on the pod it was really good (the best colts podcast) but when he left there barely even acknowledged it. Now the podcast is boring and uninteresting.

The new cohost is not good. He makes it almost unbearable to listen to, almost as unbearable as the Colts have been this season.

Keefer is 5 stars by himself but I just can’t do it anymore. James Boyd is just insufferable to listen to as he learns football let alone how to cover it. I’ve listened for years but I don’t know what The Athletic was thinking hiring a guy who wasn’t even good at covering basketball here let alone a sport that gets the national attention that the NFL does

This guy sits on a fence. Plays the PR game and is afraid of being objective and never asks the tough questions. He talks a lot But says a whole lot of nothing.

No disrespect, losing Stephen Holder was going to hurt no matter what, but I pay for an Athletic subscription for next level analysis, not to hear a beat writer test out his football training wheels. I’m sure James is a great writer and person but he should probably stick to basketball

Stephen and Zach are awesome. Knowledgeable, smart, and take a measured perspective. They are also fantastic writers. I highly commend this show to you!

These guys know what the heck they are talking about, they take a stance and back it up, if your a true fan and not just a sunshine and rainbows fan, this is the pod for you, have listened and read their work for years. And while I’m at it shut up and subscribe to the Athletic. It’s worth the bag of potato chips you shouldn’t be eating daily anyway. Either your a fan or your not, MUST listen to pod. Great job guys! Glad I finally found you keep getting 1% a day, chopping wood and bringing the juice!

Great job and info guys. Not too long or too short. Sometimes Zak is hard to hear, but that’s a small thing...other than that I really enjoy it.
