dancinqeen8A Hard ListenAfter giving this WNBA podcast multiple chances throughout the year, I've finally decided to move on. While there are occasional valuable insights sprinkled throughout episodes, the overall listening experience has been frustrating. Chelsea relies heavily on recapping her Twitter feed rather than offering original analysis or reporting. Her limited knowledge of the league and sport becomes apparent in discussions, where she either struggles to articulate clear thoughts or falls back on repeated talking points. Her tendency to center herself in conversations and talk over other hosts further diminishes the listening experience. Meaghan does bring solid, original analysis to the table, but as others have noted, her perpetual high volume makes it difficult to enjoy her contributions. It often feels like she's shouting directly into the microphone. Tyler offers decent commentary, but if you listen to his other podcast, you'll quickly notice he recycles the same points across both shows. Together, the trio rarely delivers substantive basketball analysis. Their discussions frequently devolve into repetitive arguments about teams tanking for draft prospects like Juju or Lauren Betts. While valid points, hearing them repeatedly instead of diverse WNBA coverage becomes tedious. I was on the verge of unsubscribing when news broke about the podcast "sunsetting" and introducing new hosts aligned with the writing team. Curious, I tuned in to the revamped format. Richard was immediately impressive with his deep knowledge of the league, CBA intricacies, and player insights. Unfortunately, pairing him with Chelsea only highlighted her limitations. She continues returning to expansion teams and Twitter gossip as seeming crutch topics when she lacks substantive perspectives on current players, games, or league developments. For meaningful WNBA content, I've found The Athletic and Winsider show to be superior alternatives. These podcasts consistently deliver actual analysis, original perspectives, and genuinely educational content about women's basketball. I go to HerHoopStats.com for a ton of knowledge but there is a huge disconnect between the website and this podcast. Will likely officially unsubscribe but would recommend Richard coming by back - really enjoyed him.

StravtokerReally good except for EQI really enjoy the show. Excellent energy and expertise, and really great chemistry. Since I listen to this most often in the car, I’ll say that I wish the sound on Megan‘s side of the conversation was more even. Sometimes there is a significant drop off at the end of sentences, and I don’t know if it’s a technical issue or just simply a projection one from a vocal standpoint. I always enjoy this show, and would love to literally and figuratively hear more of it. Thanks a lot!

Stix P. McGrawGood game plan, bad executionThis show has great content, but Megan’s voice trails off at the end of most of her sentences, and on top of that her audio setup doesn’t sound good. As a result, too much of what Megan has to say is unintelligible.

pkfletcher1Love thisLove the up to the minute expertise and lovely voices! Brilliant!

Bagofpants35MehGaur Hour is bringing you down. It sounds like one host just woke up, and the other criticizes players without citing significant stats to support his claims. Don’t tell us a player is bad - tell us what’s actually going on. We need better coverage for women’s basketball!!!!
-
kmurphy13Coast to coastCoast to coast is the best! Crina- we will miss you! The sound quality of the podcasts hosts on the other shows can be grating to listen to.

SwcyCkyfI love you guys and please stop yellingI love this show and really appreciate your analysis and banter. Jamie - sometimes you shout for prolonged periods of time - it’s hard to listen to. I love you but maybe less yelling?

Yogamom67Quit Talking Down to Your New ListenersEvery time I give this podcast another chance, I end up turning it off. I am really tired of being talked down to, compartmentalized, and dismissed. The assumptions your Hosts make about new fans to the WNBA are demeaning and insulting. Referring to us as ‘new casuals” and acting as if we’re incapable of following or appreciating more than one WNBA player is ridiculous. I’d really like to listen to a WNBA podcast, but I’m not going to be continually insulted and demeaned SOLELY because I’m a new fan of the WNBA. I’ll get my news elsewhere. In the meantime, y’all need to grow up and learn better manners. You are doing the very thing you’re accusing everyone else of - making assumptions and judging others.

***aspyke***Please upgrade microphones, otherwise great podcast! So appreciative of your podcast. I can’t get enough women’s basketball content lately and love listening to your episodes. But I would really appreciate if you guys could update the quality of your microphones. The all star review episode was so difficult to hear. Thanks again for all your coverage!

Hershe25Horrible audioAre you recording in a restaurant kitchen? I want to hear what you’re saying because I think it’s interesting, but you need to figure that audio out.

MillerSeattleSemifinals recapSorry guys. The sound quality is TERRIBLE. Love hearing your analysis (PAC-12 fan here) but I can’t listen to your 1:45 AM recording. Too hard to decipher!!!
-
RalphLaurenTheDogAudioHate to say it but Megan’s audio is so bad I had to stop listening. I wanted to love this pod but it’s beyond frustrating when you can only hear the first half of every comment she makes. Please invest in better mics!

42-25-12Strong east coast biasIf you're a fan of teams east of the mississippi river then find a different podcast.
-
lmnopeteGet off the court when recording!Decent coverage but the audio is unlistenable. Your background noise makes it almost unlistenable. Recording your podcast at your other job is not ideal.

WbbFansDeserveBetterPodsStats Just in the TitleI wish commentary utilized her hoop stats instead of random free flow commentary going off the flawed rankings. I got drunk playing the drinking game. I had to take a shot every time she said pass the eye test!
-
Ayla_podcastPlease cover more OregonI love this podcast but I wish they covered more Oregon ducks women's basketball.
-
Sarah WittGreat content, please clean up the audioThe content of this podcast is fantastic for WBB fans but the audio quality is very poor. Makes it hard to listen to on certain episodes. If you guys could clean this up, would be 5 stars for sure.

TrueLizFun listenI found this podcast after it played on the CBS Eye on College Basketball podcast feed, and I really liked it. Awesome to listen to informed people who love women’s basketball! My only thing would be wishing for a slightly better sound quality, since the volume sometimes seems different for each person. But I am really enjoying the podcast!

Ry335..DecentGood content and knowledge. Similar to the chasing perfection podcast, female host mumbles and nervous laughs a ton. Very hard to hear understand what she is saying.
-
Elle202214Get their names right! It’s really hard to listen to Courtside when players’ names are repeatedly mispronounced (e.g. Briann January and Brianna Turner). It’s not that hard!!
-
JCW@1Speak woman! This woman needs to speak with a lot more clarity. Her words do not come out clearly thereby diminishing the content.

mffromazListen to a WBB podcast dailyJohn Liddle is a perfect moderator. He is very talented. I am a new WBB fan, as the women’s team at the U of A in Tucson has been so much fun to watch. These podcasts are a perfect distraction to the daily grind and especially during a stressful time in our country. Thanks for such a positive and interesting distraction/new hobby.

@jddycheA Great Women’s Basketball PodcastIf you are a women’s basketball fan this podcast is a must listen. The interviews are first rate, especially with coaches. You also get good reports on teams & players, like the recent one on Rice. The podcast is a good way to keep up with teams from outside your own region. John Liddle is a very likable & knowledgeable host whose love of the game & good humor always come through. The music is good & the production quality is high. If you crave more information & insight about the women’s game give this podcast a listen.
