My Pants have shrunk since starting this Podcast.
No, it’s not what you think! I now only have short pants! One day I hope to be a big dog!

    Best Content. God awful quality.
would it kill BTI to get Jon’s audio ROUGHLY the same volume as his for the podcast? The people need to hear what Dr Con has to say. Podcast content - 483 dinosaurs Audio Editing - 0.6 dinosaurs

    North Dakota can now listen.
We just got the internet last week here in North Dakota. I was super excited to sit down at my computing machine after I picked up the milk from the front step and turn the podcast dials to tune in! Gald to see the show back with some regularity. Entertaining and real.

Great podcast in the vein of Serial
This podcast goes deep into the mindset of a serial killer (alias Brent) and gives great insight on what motivates him to kill. Not for the faint of heart, but a very good listen.

    My Monday morning ritual
I look forward to Monday mornings when I can tune in to the new podcast and start my week off with 100 laughs. I don't hate Mondays anymore! Whether you're a designer or not, it's worth a listen.

    5 out of 5 Dinosaurs
I look forward to each new episode, seriously great discussions and advice. Have already listened to episodes multiple times while illustrating. P.S. Brett the intern has serious serial killer vibes.

Easily the best podcast I’ve ever listened to. If you’re in search of a podcast that you don’t get tired of listening to day after day, this is it.

A great balance between design and laughing my a** (can I curse on this?) off at the tangents these two go off on.

    All the dinsosaurs
Before I listened to this podcast, I would’ve rated it 0/5 dinosaurs. But now that I’ve spent the past week binging the show, it’s a solid 5/5 dinosaurs for sure. It’s like hanging out with the design friends I never had with a heaping helping of motivation and insight. I especially love Brent the Intern’s poignant, thoughtful, and even at times controversial send offs at the end of each episode. Can’t wait for more!

    Refreshing, fun, enjoyable
Such a blast to listen to this podcast. Really enjoyable and also prompt and challenges me to get even more introspective on myself as a creative. I constantly want to chime into the conversation and not just to correct Brent/Brett the Intern's grammar.

    Favorite podcast!
I've never really listened to podcasts, aside from one true crime podcast. Always found them boring. I'm new to graphic design though, and wanted to find a podcast to listen to just to get some tips. I listened to a little bit of a few different ones, but didn't really like any of them until I found this one. In this podcast, I found SO much more than that. I've definitely found a lot of helpful tips, but it's also been a huge inspiration to me, as well as given me a lot of hope for my future. I've been practicing a lot more since listening to this, started drawing again, and am just constantly thinking about design. I also love that The Nose and Brent the Intern just talk about whatever comes up. They're both really funny, and just entertaining. Five dinosaurs!

    5/5 Dinosaurs
Best design centric podcast out there. It hits on all the great things in life - design, hardcore, pop culture and everyday happenings.

Great no frills design podcast - 5 Dinostars
The Nose Knows has been a refreshing listen from the standard interview/inspiration design podcasts. Jon and Brent "The Intern" find a happy medium of design questions/topics and trash talking. It's a solid production with great movie critiques, references (or ignorance to references; has Brent ever seen The Sandlot?!), and honest advice and opinions on being a designer. P.S Brent "The Intern" should have ran with the much harder alias of "The aaBRENTice" when he had the chance. Overall 5 Dinostars.

    My go-to podcast
Jon and Brent have great chemistry and ball-busting humor in between conversations about a little of everything. Jon’s expertise in design shows through each conversation whether the content is about design or not; meaning he has a way of exemplifying his work and knowledge through his values, thoughts and (welcomed) ramblings. Inspiration for creative people comes from the world around us, not just art but also music, society, fears, etc., so a podcast about design that touches on non-design subjects makes perfect sense, while providing a variety of topics that leave you laughing, smiling or pumped full of confidence. Keep the episodes coming!

    Jon is the man
This podcast rules, if you're a designer/like horror/metal/hardcore/silly uncultured Canadian interns/have already listened to all your other podcasts, this is the one to check out. But really where the F did he find Brent the intern? Is Canada just another way of saying "under a rock"?
  • aint nothing
    Two points.
    1) Knowledge is power 2) F**k Nazis

    Killer podcast
I've followed Jon's work for a real long time, and getting more of his insights on design, the industry, and even life in general is awesome. Jon and Brent the Intern have really entertaining dialogue, which makes it feel like you're just sitting in on a conversation.

    Meeting your idols
They say not to meet your idols, but that’s terrible advise. Since we all don’t have access to him, this is the next best thing. He’s got so much talent, so many life experiences, it’s been so great to learn about my idol, Brent The Intern.

    Fun Stuff
Flowing conversations that can be goofy and deep in the same hour. Design questions as the starting point, but way more interesting than just answers to those questions.

We have needed this for so long.
Jon is hitting the nail on the head non stop in this podcast. I can relate so much to Jon and his past experiences and such as I am also a musician turned designer first starting out creating band shirts while on tour. I share a lot of the same sentiment when it comes to society and the world today. The perfect podcast for me, and it makes me not only like Jon’s work but also Jon the guy. So stoked on this! Jon is the most relatable person I don’t know
I grew up in the early-mid 2000s building DIY skate spots during the day and playing crappy hardcore shows with my friends at night. That has always been an inspiration in my work. So that same DIY nature that I grew up with has made Jon the amazing designer and person he is. Just a great reminder to always hold onto your roots.

    Design Podcast With a Twist
I've been a follower of Jon for along time since I discovered the clothing line he headed back in the day. This is a great podcast that just feels like your BS'ing with a buddy for the better part of an hour or so. It's great background while I'm designing my 9-5 and I look forward to learning some cool stuff while getting some insight into one of the better designers of our time.

    Finally it’s here!
I’m a huge fan of Jon and his work. So it’s nice to have an unfiltered bit of insight from him on different topics. I legit was very inspired by him when I decided to be a freelance illustrator. So a podcast is a perfect way to be more inspired by his process and style even more. What’s crazy is I started my own podcast “Shut Up Berto" with the same intent. But I’m no Jon. He’s a killer in the game and a genuine dude. Hope he crushes it on here and keeps it going.
