I have recently (I know I've been living under a rock) started listening to podcasts. I came across you two on Amazon Music Podcast. My first time listening I chose a podcast you two did on Timothy Buss the murderer of Tara Sue Huffman and Christopher Meyer. Tara Sue is my moms little sister, listening to your podcast and realizing how accurate it was and how much feeling you put into it brought me comfort. I then decided to start your podcast from the very beginning. I am currently on episode 55!. I love the charisma between you two girls. I listen to OTCP everyday and I have learned so much. So many cases I have never heard of and so many great inside jokes, VAGINA BREAD. I literally had to pause that episode because I was laughing to hard. Sorry for the long ramble, I really wish I would've gotten into podcasts sooner. Just know I love your podcast and you now have another huge fan! 5 Stars!!! -OTCP Fan Forever ❤

I highly enjoy the podcast but in almost every instance where you have the opportunity to use your platform to stand for something you guys fail to do so. In the most recent episode you had the perfect chance to advocate for sex work being legalized in the US to protect woman and didn’t mention it at all. The goal is less victims!!!!!

Interesting cases. Witty, authentic conversation. There is a kind of chemistry between the hosts that is often missing. They have a lot of common sense about content and how it is organized. Also like Mr October. 😊

I feel like I’m hanging out with my two best friends from high school when I listen to theses ladies. A fellow Gen-Xer, I get their humor and relate to everything they say about their lives and the world. Cam and Jen discuss terrible crimes but they do it matter-of-factly and honestly, without glorifying the murderer or the crimes. They pay tribute to the victim with care. (And a-thousand Thank Yous for not dropping the F-bomb every other word like so many other true-crime podcasts.)

I unashamedly love true crime podcasts and documentaries. These ladies are my favorite. I have l enjoyed working my way through their podcasts from oldest to newest. I love their interaction with each other, their respect for victims, their commitment to the show, and their willingness to sponsor other podcasts.

These ladies banked episodes so that their fans don’t have to miss a week or more of new episodes. This is Billy appreciated by this fan!

Old to true crime pods but new to this podcast. Refreshing hosts with moderate chatter. There is a lot of content going back to 2018. Considering going Patreon to listen ad free. So far they get a 5 star for the good research, minimal opinions expressed on hot button issues, good sense of humor (ie ability to laugh at themselves not just tearing others down), and good story telling style. Try a couple of episodes !

There's a commercial every 4 minutes,at this point who cares about their opinions on anything since they will sell whatever .

Just found this podcast! I’ve binged all my favorites (including their Patreon’s) and on the hunt for some new ones to follow. I’ve given dozens of different once a listen but mostly can’t find any new ones I love. So far I’m enjoying this one tho! I have a bad habit of listening to everything in 1.5x-2x speed though so everything always sounds better to me that way lol

I have been binging Jen and Cam through this long hot summer. We are rancher/farmers so it’s work, work, work…. I heard about them on the Southern Gothic podcast. I, too, am a Gen X kid so their sarcastic banter is right on! I also have ADHD, so Jen breaking out in song or the occasional roast of one another is also on par! All of this aside, they do have respect for the victims as well as give origin stories of both victim and perpetrator. I am still in 2000 (pandemic! Ugh!) but I am going to run over to Patreon so these ladies can have the $$$ they deserve (doing this has to be time consuming!) and I don’t have to listen to ads (win win!!). Well, it’s back to work! The hired man saw two Grizzlies this morning where I have to change irrigation pipe. I guess my death by bear won’t be making this podcast…😂😂

The research by the podcasters is very good. I like the quality of the content and I like the presentation by the female narrator. What I don’t like are the constant small responses that come from the second podcast presenter. Constant “oh”, “awful “, “uh!”, “terrible “, “OMG” and others. It needs to change to quiet listening punctuated with questions that any listener might have.

Thank you for this great show, it is always entertaining and informative. I love how you tell the stories and share your honest feelings. Keep doing what you’re doing!

I discovered this podcast a couple months ago and have been trying to listen to all the back issues. The banter between the hosts, they do not drop the F bomb often and they aren’t are not afraid of talking about their lack of math skills or how they pronounce names. Keep up the good work. I’ve been listening for a couple of years now but never went back to their beginning. I’ve listened to all of the episodes posted and absolutely love the early ones. Not that I don’t love the recent one’s too!! Especially the most recent two cases. Just adore you ladies. Keep doing your thing and ignore the haters!!

I’m a newer fan of the true crime genre, and I really like the way this podcast is presented. Respectful, not overly dramatic, and easy to listen to.

I have been listening to true crime podcast for years and juts recently was referred to check your’s out from another podcaster. I am so glad I did!! You ladies are very relatable and halerious! I started form Season 1 Episode- and I am so glad I did! It allowed me to get to know you better and see where you started from in the podcast world. I can’t wait to get caught up to the recent season as I’m listening to you while I do dishes while I do gardening, while I do yardwork, and while I’m driving. I recently drove across country and was so happy I had your podcast to listen to. Over three days of driving I went through the first few seasons and I still can’t get enough. . I also don’t think that I will ever be able to look at a loaf of bread the same way 😂 Please keep doing what you’re doing, constructive criticism is helpful, but don’t change yourselves because of negative comments. I do really enjoy seeing the progression of you both becoming more mastered at the art of podcasting. Remember, it’s always about progression not perfection. I truly hope to be able to attend CrimeCon in 2025 with my mother and sister who I share the love of true crime with and we hope to see you there. I’ve also shared your podcast with them and I’m sure they are loving it just as much as I am. This happened during my senior year of high school. I was on a spring break to Florida when I heard about these two little girls missing from Wheaton Plaza. This was close to my home and I had gone there for many years to get school clothes with my friends each fall. So incredibly sad. My first exposure to missing and abducted children. Your coverage was very tastefully done. I know it’s a horrific story and was glad you focused on the investigation and not the crime details. I was not sure I’d be able to listen to it. Job well done. These little girls and their family will always be close to my heart. Would love to go on your trip. So sad. Getting a knee replacement this summer 😣

I stumbled across this podcast in January while recovering from knee surgery, and boy am I glad I did! I have been bingeing everyday since. Jen and Cam are just like my two best friends from high school; weird, smart, and fabulous just like me (hello English, you’re hard sometimes), and I look forward to new episodes every week, just so I can chill out and ‘chat’ with my besties.

I’m a new listener and love your podcasts! You both do a wonderful job researching and tastefully delivering terrible content. I believe that the family of the victims would be pleased with the respect that you give them. I’m not sure if this was covered or not, if so please disregard. There was a local murder case in Bay Village, Ohio possibly committed by Dr. Sam Sheppard. But he was exonerated after conviction. There is even a book called “Mockery of Justice”, this case also inspired the movie “The Fugitive”.

I always enjoy listening to Cam and Jen tell a great crime story. I feel like I’m chatting with old friends.

The one I just heard would have me wondering why I listen to you ladies. Trust I love you guys. It was a commercial for realtor school with people that “like-minded “. Every Black person knows what they mean. To add to it they also made reference to President Biden messing up the economy.

One of my favorite shows! The girls are real and authentic, I enjoy listening to them. They tell the stories in a pleasant way. To those complaining about the ads…. That’s based on YOUR algorithm NOT them becative NEVER heard the ones yall are complaining about. Don’t like how they say a word or tell a story stop listening or better yet put yourself out there to do what they do. I bet your podcast would not be PERFECT! I LOVE their imperfections, it’s a friendly reminder to believe in yourself and not let the nasty couch critics bring you down!

I just discovered this podcast in May and I’ve listened to a ton of the episodes in just a few months. I love the dynamic of the hosts- I could tell they were longtime friends even before I heard them say it. Their relationship adds to the show because they’re even more personable. I also love the way they read and respond to the stories. Some shows I’ve tried had hosts with monotone voices and that’s just not for me. Both Jen and Cam have great intonation and the way they don’t read perfectly adds to the show for me because it shows their personality. I also enjoy the conversations about things they’re watching at the end, it’s given me a few things to catch up on!

I listen to this podcast when I’m on the treadmill and I swear the hour passes by so fast. Their banter is very entertaining I don’t see how some people can dislike it. Much love to Jen and Cam 💕💕 (p.s: chad sounds lovely 🐈)
