I feel like an insider to their conversations but I’m still apart of them. I don’t know them but if we ever meet, it’s going to feel weird feeling like a stranger because I’ve been brought into their lives! I really enjoy the variety of content and the insights they provide as professionals. I would consider myself an adventuresome experienced novice and knowing that other people mess up too is reassuring. I was even sewing and thinking about intentionally skipping a step when they were talking about how easy it is to think you don’t need a step and that it turns out is is important down the line - in that moment, I felt so seen! I enjoy each episode and hope to continue listening for a long time to come.

Interesting topics (that are wedged in between nonsense like The Bachelor) but the nonstop giggling, the childish use of the word “like” before every word and the California girl singsongy cadence is so distracting that the content is lost. Could be a great show if hosted by professional adults.

I always listen to this podcast. It is well produced and very informative. Lately most of the content is subscribers only. I understand their need to raise money, I find this very frustrating.

I get a lot of laughs from listening to this podcast. I also get a lot of help with my sewing. I also get inspired and my sewing mojo refreshed. I love all the personal stories along with the viewers stories. So relatable. I will definitely try contributing and supporting. You two ladies are great! Thank you.

The episode on velvet and corduroy was so timely. After listening while traveling I came home and my BF corduroy order had arrived! As many times as I have sewn on corduroy I did learn some things. I’m glad I heard it before diving into my project. Thank you !

I happened upon this somehow and randomly started listening and I’m going in order (should I?) from the beginning. I hit the 30th today, so I’m still in 208 haha. I am a very beginner sewist who needs the camaraderie and inspiration and I’m taking notes and hoping to make a project again soon (I’m a nurse, haven’t sewn since before covid). Thanks for this. I’ve enjoyed this show for some time and it’s lovely. Unfortunately all the episodes are suddenly all available only through a subscription. I completely agree people should be paid for their work. I’m just not able to pay $5/month for every show I follow. I’m so sorry to unfollow, but for those whose priority is sewing, this is a wonderful podcast hosted by two very knowledgeable sewists.

Found your podcast while searching for something new to listen to. You are just right for me! I’m a quilter but love to venture out and see other things. Your giving me inspiration to do just that. Also like the episode where you provided other podcasts, movies, and music while sewing. Normally I watch Judge Judy while sewing and I know I need to expand my tv life.

This is a wonderful podcast, full of charmingly delivered and abundant advice on garment sewing. The hosts, Caroline and Helen, are so sweet. With their team, they plan and research each episode so well, packing it with helpful information sourced from many people. Love to Sew is also the best produced podcast I have ever heard, and I appreciate the consideration for listeners demonstrated by the consistently high quality audio as well as the focused nature of the discussion. I enjoy playing Love to Sew as I do various tasks throughout my days. By starting from the first episode, progressing chronologically through the next episodes, and taking notes on points that interest me, I have gained an incredible free education in garment sewing as someone who does not know how to sew but would like to learn. I had to remove a star from the rating because unfortunately, Helen and Caroline have “drunk the Kool-Aid” of left-wing propaganda, not realizing that it aims to destroy marriage and the family, for the sake of destroying faith in Christianity—as marriage represents Christ and the Church, while the family represents the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I am sure that Caroline and Helen mean no harm, particularly since they are echoing what has become trendy in our culture. But in the name of inclusion, they frequently espouse views or promote guests’ platforms that contradict the teachings of the Catholic Church, making me feel alienated. For example, in the first more than 200 episodes, only once have they had a Christian guest, Brittany J. Jones, whereas they have hosted countless people who advocate for grave sexual sins or Marxism, to the point that I have had to skip certain episodes or stop playing them because they effectively show contempt for my religious views. I would be grateful if Helen and Caroline could make the podcast concentrate on garment sewing and minimize engagement with controversial ethical standpoints that marginalize certain listeners. As a second-best, they could at least feature equal representation of people across the political or religious spectrum, including conservative Christians and Jews. Thank you for all your hard work, Love to Sew team!

I -LOVE- these two young women! They are both so knowledgeable plus they share their knowledge, and they both love sewing! Not to mention… But I will, they are both so fun and funny! I have been sewing for over 65 years and I thoroughly enjoy this podcast!! I always look forward to it, and I really miss them when they take their break. I would suggest this podcast to anybody who sews anything!

Pretend that every star is actually worth TWO stars. Yes, that means ten stars. Helen and Caroline are absolutely wonderful hosts, and I could listen to them all day and, admittedly, I have- I tell my husband I’m listening to my friends. 😂 I really, really , REALLY appreciate how they get right to the point and there isn’t 45 minutes of aimless chatting before getting to the topic- not to say there isn’t any chatting at the beginning, but it’s a friendly introduction rather than a show with no direction. I recently got their paid subscription and I love the bonus content I have access to now. Everything is just. So. Good!! Every episode is informational without being dry, and just all around a great time. Lastly, I just love how tenderly they both talk about their partners. You can tell that Helen and Caroline adore their other half and it makes my day whenever they talk about them. Please never stop talking about your guys!

I am teaching myself how to sew, and this podcast offers help as well as total inspiration. They demystify some things that would have terrified me. Thanks ladies!

I have been sewing for about a year and listening to Helen and Caroline’s podcasts for only a few months but I am already an addict. The contents are full of good tips (interestingly easy to visualize even without a video), practical ideas, inspiration for future projects, and humor. The sound is also very quality, which isn’t always the case with other podcasts. Love it!

This podcast is informative and well-researched, but could benefit from a more conversational tone. The debates are even scripted, which makes it feel impersonal and disingenuous. Conversations that are less scripted will sound more natural and be more engaging to listen to.

I enjoy the podcast a lot. I find their banter uplifting and easy to follow. Very enjoyable

Their Sewing for a Changing Body is one of their many excellent episodes. As a middle aged female, this has happened to me, sometimes on a daily basis. 🤣🤣. There advice is useful and offers you many options, so you can find a solution that works for you. This podcast series offers so many practical tips, fabric advice, packaged in delightful dialogue. Thank you for sharing your experience and guidance, Helen and Caroline!

Started listening even before I approached a sewing machine and have only come to love this podcast more and more as I learn. Caroline and Helen are knowledgeable, professional, and so warm in their presentation. I’m so glad I found this podcast and feel it’s given me such a good foundation. My daughter introduced this podcast to me, which I found so very interesting. I started to sew in the 60’s, making clothes because it was so economical, using the big four pattern companies. As the years went in on, I became busier and my sewing interest waned. Then Covid hit, my daughter started to sew, introduced me to the world of indie patterns, which has been so inspiring. My daughter and I have since developed a sewing bond. I let her know what is interesting to me, she shares some pattern and material ideas, then I’m off and running. What fun we have had!

They cover a huge array of topics. They are so positive and wholesome and really shepherd the sewing community in a supportive, loving Direction. They have great guest speakers Educational, entertaining and uplifting.

Getting back into sewing and can't emphasize enough how helpful this podcast has been as a crash course. So glad I found it!

I started listened a couple months into 2020, and the informative, friendly and fun episodes helped me keep going through the initial failures and trials. In recent years they have been covering more topics around cultural appropriation, POC and indigenous sewing and art practices, and size inclusivity. I’ve learned *so much* about sewing and being a thoughtful person, and I see my occasional discomfort as well as the joyful sewing mind expansion as a gift. Keep up the great work Helen and Caroline!

I started listening to Love to Sew a few months after the podcast started. I quickly listened to all the previous episodes and then waited eagerly for the new ones to arrive. Caroline and Helen are like old friends to me. I love the interviews, but I love even more when the two are chatting, sharing little bits about life and business. I hope the podcast continues for many, many seasons to come.

This is THE best podcast on sewing! Helen and Caroline are organized in the presentation of the information, choose very interesting topics, and both come through as very sweet and lighthearted! I’m in my car all day for work, and I listen to Love to Sew every day. I’ve learned so much!

I’m getting back into sewing, both as a career and for fun, and it is so nice listening to these two professionals on their own sewing journeys. They give you tips that you can use no matter what level you are, and my favorite is when they even bring up something simple they just learned themselves. I love their two different points of views on things because I love options. I also love hearing the connections they have made and what they learn from our industry being business owners themselves. I hope they continue for a long time so I can listen while I sew!

I used to really love this podcast and would look forward to listening every Tuesday. Sadly, it’s become too political for me.

I’ve been listening since the beginning. I’m sure I left a review many years ago saying how much I enjoy these 2 lovely women and their choices of topics. 5 years later I still enjoy listening. If you sense a but coming, here it is: the use of the word “like” is really bothering me as I listen and I can’t seem to stop hearing it as the episode goes on. My criticism is not meant to degrade, I hope it’s taken as constructive feedback from a loyal listener. If you could “ totally like” say these two words less I would be 100% happy. Totally.

I used to love this podcast to death, but after they decided to take summer and winter breaks, it only leaves a few months out of the year that we actually get content.

I think of Caroline and Helen as my personal sewing buddies. This podcast has been instrumental to developing my sewing practice and sewing courage.

Love this podcast. It is helpful, entertaining and love what you guys talk about in each episode. But please shorten the intro humming to at least half of the 40 seconds, sometimes I can’t focus on what you ladies are saying, but maybe it’s just me. Ha ha. I just started sewing and the only time I have to research is while I’m driving for work. Great solution. Very informational. Can you guys do an episode on altering patterns for long torsos? That’s a beast of a topic to try and learn from trial & error.

By far, this is the best sewing related podcast for sewists at all levels. Well researched, thoughtful, timely and most of all, fun. Helen and Caroline are naturals in front of microphones and make their guests feel equally comfortable. I’ve learned and laughed a lot.

This podcast is fun and informative, and Helen and Caroline feel like your sewing friends who you can come to for information about everything from different kinds of thread to why we sew. I found this podcast while looking for a quilting podcast, (this is garment sewing), but loved it so much that I still listen. And their love for garment sewing seems to be infectious, as I now am starting to garment sew!

Generally this podcast is fantastic, but it is extremely difficult to listen to when the guest is talking the entire podcast on very serious subjects and nervous giggles the entire time! Hard to take her seriously.
