PolliNation podcast brings pollinators to life
The best podcast about native bees in the US. It covers all the latest research on native bees and honey bees in Oregon and the rest of the country. Great range of topics.

    Great pollinator podcast!
This series has consistently had great guests talking about their work on a wider range of pollinator work than I knew existed. Production and audio has gotten better, and the questions from the host are deep. Plus I love his laugh. I’ve leaned a lot and hope to continue learning from this great show!

Great podcast albeit common audio issues
I enjoy this podcast and appreciate the host and array of guests he interviews. Audio issues are fairly common but worth putting up with.

    Attracting pollinators garden.
Really wish all plants mentioned were written down makes it easier to take notes. Kept rewinding trying to write them down on my notebook. Is there any link where I can find them? Thanks!

    Engaging science
This gives a great, accessible mix of basic and applied science related to bees and other pollinators, both in the wild and in agriculture.

    Pollinators appreciate PolliNation
If the pollinators of North America listened to podcasts, I believe they would love this informative, engaging and entertaining podcast and all who listen and learn from it. Keep up the good work! The pollinators need all the support we can give them!

This last program was the worst one lots of dropped sections. Very unfortunate.

    Natives are my jam!
Native bees are my jam! I work on a Flagship Farm (where wine grapes, olives and lavender grow) and this podcast is a great way to learn about new ways to continue to provide habitat for pollinators as well as providing great info to curious patrons! Thanks for all you do!

    Pollination
I binge-listened to 25+ shows on a long road trip and found them super entertaining and educational, made the miles go by and kept me awake.

    Always memorable
Andony Melathopoulos has the gift of getting pollinator experts to gab into his mic. He has all the enthusiasm of a gee-whiz novice but inserts canny clarification just when the listener needs it. He is the Terry Gross of pollination podcasts.

    Awesome
As an backyard bee watcher I’m inspired to keep up the work to provide native plants and nesting habitat. I glean something from every podcast and the more I read listen and learn the greater my ability to take away useful information to apply to my humble insect hostel. We all start our path somewhere and here’s a great support whatever your starting point

Grateful in Ohio: Opened My Eyes
......to a huge variety of bees I never knew existed. After listening to the recent episode on Squash bees, e.g., I went out to my garden at the crack of dawn and found exactly what the interviewee described--small honeybee-sized male Squash bees frantically darting about looking for love. Unlike some other bees, they were too fast to photograph well, but at one point a female entered the blossom and within seconds three males squash bees darted in. Earlier this summer, I stood by a large stand of kale that I had let go to blossom (to collect later for sprouting) and, just as predicted in another interview, saw tiny luminescent green bees. Learning about these critical insect neighbors just makes gardening all that more enjoyable and strengthens the view that we're all in this together. The sound quality and level of expertise of this podcast make it stand out. I am very grateful for the generosity of Dr. Andony Melathopoulos and the many scientists and educators he interviews.

    Pollination is a great resource
As an educator I find the Pollination Podcast a great resource for information that is research-based!. There is so much misinformation about pollinators and pollinator plants it is great to go to a reliable resource.
