MN Zach8 yearsā¦.I am so so happy to have found this campaign and all of you! I will definitely be listening moving forward but it is surreal that episode 1 was so long ago. Everyone of you are wonderful! Also, may be embarrassing to admit but I never figured out the code to activate the sleeper agent⦠š¬

VermillionVertigoShark wifeThis is my favorite dnd podcast by far and maybe my favorite podcast ever??? Ive been a long time listener since 2016 and this show still makes me laugh out loud every time I listen to it. I have to actually not listen to it at work because I look like a lunatic laughing to myself. It also has its fair share of touching moments, cool lore and interesting character relationships!!! I will be so sad when the current arc is over but I cant wait to see what they make next
-
Bean_Boi :DCryingHello Larks! I am currently a few episodes out from being caught up, and this new arc has got me shedding a few tears (in a good way). Aside from that, you never fail to make me laugh will silly jokes, unhinged intros, and insane midrolls (never knew Errol could sing until that one fateful midroll). And Gaeri. Just. Gaeri :)

bag of teefIām shaking this podcast between my teeth like a wretched beastI canāt even begin to describe how much I love legendlark. Iāve sobbed, Iāve laughed so hard I hurt, Iāve gotten goosebumps from how good and chilling the story can be. Every person on here cares so much about the story theyāre telling and itās so clear. The themes are on point and the characters are wonderful and the soundtrack is haunting and perfect. Thereās so much more I can say but do yourself a favor and listen.

Saber CookieROAD EGGI love this podcast so much, and it came into my life like a wizard who is never early nor late! Even when the real world steals away all my reasons to smile, I know that I cannot help but smile throughout the entirety of every single episode. It is so delightful to listen to a group of friends have genuine fun together, and I feel honored that theyāve invited all of us to join them for it. Their humor is so silly and chaotic, and I guarantee youāll love every moment of this podcast. Iām really excited to start the final arc for their main campaign! Iām sure itāll be a bittersweet conclusion, but it was been a wonderful ride. Thank you to the Dragon Dames for your dedication to creating the best Actual Play podcast Iāve ever listened to! All of you have been my Strong Betty Wolf of the Waves, and I am eternally grateful!

ThisDamselFlies1If youāre reading reviews, youāll love thisHilarious, lighthearted, quirky, bizarre, and utterly bingeable, anyone who enjoys fantasy and storytelling and who is comfortable laughing out loud in public places should listen to this podcast. Previous D&D experience not required. I started listening to fill the time between Venture Maidens episode releases, and then couldnāt stop. I just finished bingeing this entire series, and my only regret is that now there are no more episodes. I think Iāll go back and re-listen to Hrose Camp now. š

Vox Ex MachinaWhen things feel dark, I listen to LegendlarkIām serious, the creativity, love, and gut busting humor gets me every time. In the worst times Iāve had, this show has cheered me up and reminded me that sometimes all I need to do is get together with some friends and play some D&D.

19287640I have an addictionTo this pod. Can I get some more? š„“ These goofballs are pretty good, yāall š«¶š» aside from how stellar everything is in the podcast - these fantastical humans have made me realize that life, in its purest form, is improv. Finding people who also deal in that impromptu and silly energy is key to unleashing my inner goofball and finding joy. The story in this pod is incredibly intricate and vivid, the chemistry in and out of game is a seamless amalgamation of jokes, role play, razzing, laughter, and inclusivity. My heart is full listening to these wonderful friends play DND. I wholeheartedly recommend this to my fellow goofballs. :) Goof long and prosper š

River Likes MathExtremely GoodThe only actual play podcast I listened to for years, very good, has been an inspiration for my own DnD campaign in a million ways
-
SarahRuth11My favorite podcast ever!!Literally wonderful in every way possible! Will make laugh out loud in public.
-
Bunni VantasThe best flavor of weirdosI will be listening at work and I find myself trying not to laugh, near constantly. As well as time stamping funny moments to later subject my friends to it.
-
Gallant CharlieGoofballs with a solid plotIāve been following since the first season and finally switched over from Spotify. These talented fools have me listening to their goofs over and over again! If youāre looking for a queer positive dnd podcast with INCREDIBLE long term world building and plot development, youāve found the right podcast. Canāt wait to see what they do next!
-
Dopedude12Great very silly timeFantastic example of a realistic (but very good) actual play with intriguing story and a great players. Especially with how silly it is!

One Obsessed Little GoblinWhy I canāt Sleep at Night Anymore and Listen to This InsteadThis podcast is amazing. I truly can not find the words to describe it. This is my comfort zone, my mug of hot cocoa on a rainy day, my comforting hug. The story is amazing, the characters are hilarious, and it never fails to cheer me up. I started listening to this last thanksgiving and this is all I have listened to since. I love Franās sarcasm, Korbinās weird antics, and Slakeās almost never ending patience and enthusiasm. And Katās storytelling. Kat, I am about to start DMing for my friends and I hope that I am at least half as good as you, but that is highly unlikely. Noel, you are an amazing editor and song writer. I wish I could go listen to the songs you create for this wonderful podcast over and over again. Juniper, you never fail to say something that makes me laugh, and you can do an AMAZING Mickey Mouse voice. Errol, you are hilarious, an amazing actor, and someone I would 100% be friends with. I rolled to fall in love with this podcast and I rolled a natural 20. You all are so wondrous and hilarious, please never stop podcasting. You bring so much joy to so many people, and you are the kind of people I want to be.

JuneBuggin13This podcast saved meI cannot even begin to describe how incredible this podcast is. The world building and storytelling done by the dm Kat, and the players Noel, juniper and Errol is so immersive and magical. It's such a great connection to dungeons and dragons for people feminine relating people. It was so hard for me to get into dnd as a teenager because everyone knew who played were cis boys that made it really inaccessible for literally any other identifying people. The party does such a wonderful job of balancing heavier themes with joyful humor. There is so much talent spread throughout all of them. I still haven't found another actual play podcast that satisfies me as much as this one does. I will be so sad when they are done. Tell all your friends, I know I certainly did!
-
Cassandra Lana⨠my podcast true love āØI would like to thank the makers of this podcast. This show cheers me up when I'm sad, calms me down when I'm angry, and keeps me company when I'm happy. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. This show is my favorite by far and is still making me laugh on my 5th+ time listening to it. I am forever grateful to you guys for investing your time and effort into this show and for sharing it with the world. I hope you guys have an awesome 2024! To anyone wondering if they should give this show a listen, i say YES! Its lighthearted and hilarious without throwing away the plot of the story. You can definitely tell how much TLC the makers put into it. Its very beginner friendly so you don't need to play dungeons and dragons to understand or have a good time. Please give it a listen!

QueenOfStardustNo need to roll, Iām in love with these DamesIām so glad I found this podcast. The last several months have felt like a blur of bad news after more bad news, and this podcastās catalog of episodes have been a big help in keeping me afloat. Thereās something almost eerily familiar and relatable about the partyās struggles to things that have been going on. While my personal favorite character is and always will be Fran, the entire cast and even MANY of the NPCs are truly wonderful, endearing, and truly hilarious. I sometimes have to pause or rewind because I laugh so hard I miss what happens in the middle of my fits of laughter. I truly am so grateful with every episode I get to listen to and I am very much dreading when I am caught up and donāt have the option to just keep listening as long as I want. It also makes me smile that yāall are in MN, which is my birthplace and I have a lot of family around the Twin Cities. We seem to be a similar age so I like to imagine that had I grown up there we might have met and been friends. Because each of you absolutely seems like my kind of people. šš® Also it is frankly offensive that there isnāt a D20 emoji yet. Letāsā¦. play D&D.

GlitterEngineerAbsolute chaos in the best wayThis podcast is amazing. Iāve been listening to it on and off for years (only off because I have to give them time to put up multiple episodes so I can binge it like the gremlin I am) and itās literally my favorite podcast ever. While it is a decidedly chaotic and comedic podcast, itās also incredibly touching and the plot is incredibly interesting. Itās such a beautiful example of dnd and all the characters are great. Not to mention I feel like I can see myself and my friends in the LegendLarks themselves. While Iām waiting on baited breath for the next episode, Iām also so incredibly sad this story is coming to an end even if itās still a ways off. Kat, youāre an incredible dm and story teller, Maeriās growth has been amazing and your characters are always intriguing. Noel, editing may be an oft overlooked job but youāre doing great, plus Fran is such a mood. Juniper, your (& Corbinās) chaos and humor are amazing, I pray your crow tea always has extra worms. Errol, youāre an amazing postmaster and Slake is such a sweet boi. Thank you guys for being such a bright part of my life

bobcatmomstetLove it!An A+ podcast! I stopped listening to the only other podcast for a while because this one is so great. I laughed out loud at at least once on every episode I watched. But one question can we clarify who Chantelle is once more?
-
ajoy39Like if God of War was about 4 teens with no social skills who just make it workI have literally fainted from laughing so hard listening to this podcast. I canāt write a better review than that.
-

LilFFFLiesA Fantastical Journey!I stumbled upon LegendLark podcast last year, and it has quickly become a standout show for me. The show is a brilliant fusion of storytelling, humor, and genuine camaraderie that makes it stand out in the crowded world of actual-play podcasts. At the heart of this captivating adventure is the incredibly talented group of people, whose imaginative world-building and masterful storytelling skills transport listeners to a realm of wonder and excitement. Kat's prowess as a DM is nothing short of astounding. Her ability to craft intricate plots while maintaining a fluid, player-driven narrative is a true testament to her skill and dedication. She weaves together an engaging tapestry of characters, landscapes, and challenges that keeps both the players and the audience on the edge of their seats. Kat's infectious enthusiasm and knack for improvisation ensure that every episode is a thrilling rollercoaster ride, filled with unexpected twists and heartwarming moments. The characters in LegendLark are a delightful bunch, each bringing their unique quirks and personalities to the table. There's Fran, the sassy wizard with a heart of gold, portrayed by Noel; Corbin, the interesting and quirky druid, brought to life by Juniper's impeccable role-playing; Slake, the lovably sweet and naive fighter played by Errol; and earlier in the series, Laika, the steadfast tiefling paladin, portrayed with infectious energy by Sophia. The chemistry between these characters is palpable, and their interactions are nothing short of magical. One of the standout features of LegendLark is the impeccable world-building. The group's vivid descriptions and attention to detail breathe life into every corner of the fantastical realm, from fantastical mythos to each questionable decision from the players. Their ability to create a living, breathing world is unparalleled, and it's clear that a tremendous amount of thought and effort goes into crafting this immersive experience. Finally, the production quality of LegendLark is top-notch. The sound design and editing are seamless, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable listening experience. The music and sound effects perfectly complement the narrative, enhancing the atmosphere and drawing listeners even deeper into the story. In conclusion, LegendLark is a shining gem in the world of actual-play podcasts. With exceptional storytelling, a cast of unforgettable characters, and a world that sparkles with imagination, this show is a must-listen for anyone who craves adventure, laughter, and heartwarming moments. I eagerly anticipate each new episode, knowing that it will be a journey filled with surprises, emotion, and pure, unadulterated fun. Do yourself a favor and embark on this fantastical journey with the LegendLark - you won't regret it!

WreckBadgerDelightful StuffI found LegendLark through a recommendation from a friend and started listening at the very beginning about three months ago. I burned through the entire campaign so quickly, listening to it on my drive to work and after my kids were in bed. The characters are wonderful, the story is delightful but complex, and the acting is goofy and poignant. The podcast is so entertaining with a great mix of suspenseful drama, fascinating lore, and absolutely hysterical shenanigans. 10/10, highly recommend

AwesometouretterYou have to listen!!I love this podcast. Iāve been listening to them since they started podcasting and itās an amazing show. They are funny, the plot is engaging, characters phenomenal, an all around amazing podcast. This show feels like an old friend, and returning to it every time they post (and relistening to it on off weeks) is the highlight of my day.
-
TerezibethWonderful chaosIāve been listening to this podcast for years at this point and I have never failed to laugh at yāallās antics. You all have wonderful chemistry that makes for a super enjoyable podcast to listen to. Keep up the good work!
-
Danielle R:)You donāt need dice to fall in love with this podcastThis is the best podcastāthe plot line is wonderful, the cast is the best, I have nothing but love. Whenever I listen I literally giggle out loudāitās like listening to my best friends tell a story. Also, you are all wrong, evil Falen is the hottest with Lorria as a close second. Maeri is 3rd (sorry, Fran). Anyway, my dice say that I love you but everything is fine, donāt worry about to.
-

KarenlikespieFirst Exposure to D&D and itās a masterpiece šI found this podcast back in 2020 because I needed something to listen to during my commute. I had no prior experience with D&D but wanted to see what itās all about, so I hit play on the first episode and never looked back! The story telling, characters, and plot are amazing. I can tell that Kat puts a lot of heart into developing the lore, and it really brings the world to life. On top of that, the humor is top-tier! I listen on Spotify but downloaded apple podcast just to show my love for the show. Iām excited to see how the Dames and Dragons campaign wraps up, and Iām looking forward to the stories that the LegendLark era will bring!
-
StoopidappnowayjoseLove it!!As a fellow 5e nerd, I greatly enjoy listening to this group of tight-knit friendos playing 5e. The story they weave is heartwarming, entertaining and so funny, and the world Kat has built feels so real! Shout out to Corbin my squackin bro! ā¤ļø I want this campaign to be available to play so bad!! I love the world!
-
obawwoaFunnest podFunnest and funniest d+d podcast out there. Boob windows forever. Update:still the best update for Legend Lark. Love the new name love you guys
-
CyberHonkwoohooits good, just started listening!
-
virtualbriCome for the D&D; stay for the sillinessThis is a great mix of pure silliness with an actual good D&D story. Kat has built a great world for the players to make questionable choices in. I mean the characters *mean* well.... I went through a bunch of Live-Play podcast and this was one of the few to stick, mainly because it's clear they are having so much fun with each other. The intros are often insane friend babble in the best ways, and the story is compelling enough for me to go back to the start to listen to all of it.
-
Axel To The MaxelCan't Praise EnoughI listen to more than 2 dozen different TTRPG shows and podcasts, and I can say that LegendLark is def one of my all-time favorites. Between the hilarious intros, the teenage social awkwardness, and the high stakes choices and consequences, this show never fails to make me laugh, cringe-blush, or otherwise genuinely feel. To prove how much I love this show, I created an Apple account just to review. I don't even have an Apple device! But y'all deserve the props.
-
kaylaszzzzzSo worth listening tooI love this podcast so much! The character development, the story line and the sweet friendship the players have with each other is just so special and magical! It has quickly became one of my FAVORITE DnD podcast!! The only thing that I struggle with is they are arenāt consistent in their posting schedule!
-
Twitchless and TwitterlessI said I would.I have promised myself that I would leave a review for years now, and Iām bad at following through. This is my most favourite storytelling dnd-esque podcast I have ever listened to. They are.. unhinged in the best way. I listen to many podcasts, but this is the one that I listen to immediately as soon as it comes out and I await (for far too long, for my tastes) the next episode of as soon as the one Iām listening to ends. All of players and characters are fantastic in their own ways (I seriously love every player/character for different reasons), and Kat is amazing at running a game thatās somewhat like herding 30-50 feral hogs and keeping the story going in a fascinating way. If you donāt particularly care about following all the rules of the game and youāre more interested in a truly creative and hilarious podcast, this is for you. Warning - may include farts, sonic, and jajas. Also, please: LegendLarks.
-
SeanBlochBack in the game!I binged this for awhile and Spotify just reminded me. Love it š
