If you are looking for a podcast where guests just tell their relationship stories, this is a super one. Melani is an excellent host. She asks the questions I would ask without being overly nosy or gossipy. I have only listened to the first two and have been moved to tears twice already.

I love Melani's blog and subscribe to this podcast on the Outcast app. I love her no-nonsense approach to relationships (romantic and otherwise) and find her interview style to be open and compassionate. It's a great way to hear stories from real people and I enjoy every episode. The episodes are not super frequent, but I am always happy when I see a new one in my queue.

You don't have to be single to enjoy this podcast! If anything, some of the stories will make you appreciate not being single! And if you are single, this podcast will help you find a lighter side to dating. I really enjoy the openness of the interviews. Melani is so funny, and she makes you feel like you are friends with her! Can't wait for more episodes!

I just finished the 6th episode and I have really enjoying all the episodes. I like how Melanie stops to give her personal thoughts.

Melani is as real as it gets. Loved her dating blog and this podcast is a natural progression. You won't be disappointed.

I love Melani's perspective on the dating world. So honest, so inclusive of us all. I love her voice on the podcast as I have enjoyed her writing for several years now. It literally puts a smile on my face when I see a new installment. Don't know her, never met her, but she has been bringing me joy for a long while. And continues to do so, even though I have found my "significant other" (ugh on the moniker) in the last two years. It ain't easy in the relationship/dating world. It still helps me keep my perspective and not fall into despair.

I've listened to episodes 1 and 9. Both were very interesting and the time went by fast. I've always found ordinary people's stories fascinating and in this aspect the podcast does not disappoint. Episode 1 was excellent. lt presented a profile of a regular, good guy who has never made a lasting romantic connection. He is a natural storyteller and tells tales that have equal parts humor and empathy. The host reveals a surprising twist at the end. Episode 9, starts out well and then really amps your attention when the conversation, very matter of factly, turns to orgies. It is a though provoking view into a lifestlye that I am unfamiliar with. However, some unanswered questions: Did Billy think that his polyamorous lifestyle was a reason why many women would not consider him to be boyfriend material? Also, he has concerns about the food presented at sex parties but no concerns about contracting STDs. Overall rating of 4.5.

Just listened to episode 8 and thoroughly enjoyed Melani's casual, unpretentious interview style, and her apparent psychic ability to perceive and ask the questions her listeners are already thinking. Unlike many podcasters who have the proverbial "face meant for radio" Ms. Robinson is the complete package, easy on both the ears AND the eyes. I don't always listen to sex and relationship podcasts, but when I do, I like them to be hosted by people I can believe actually have vibrant sex lives! :D

Wonderful Podcast! Certainly interesting and very informative ;) Wasn’t sure where it was going and liked how it unfolded. Interesting that he started out wanting a relationship as the "transitional guy”; was he wanting a traditional relationship or polyamorous one then? Possibly that’s why many of the women say him as not boyfriend material? That and the fact that he couldn’t afford steak may have played a roll as him fitting the “just for fun/sex” guy. Just a thought. Loved how you brought it back around towards the end Mel to point out that possibly some of these desires to have more than one person fulfill your fantasies can be satisfied with compromise and exploration and openness as a couple. Felt he was not getting your point. Great job and interesting nonetheless!

I'm so addicted to this podcast and storytelling!! As a widow entering this new dating world in my early 50s I can relate to some of the stories and emotions expressed. Thank you to Melani and her guests for being brave in sharing their experiences and what they've learned. Melani, you have such a witty, warm and calming manner who wouldn't open up to you! I love that you curse just as much as I do!! Isn't so therapeutic?! Keep up the great work and bravo for creating a podcast I would have loved to create. Much love Xoxoxo

Lately, I've enjoyed podcasts of real people telling interesting stories. This is pretty good.

This is very unique and that's a good thing! I enjoy the way the guests go into their own stories.

Melani is a rockstar interviewer! She asks great questions, and her guests reveal things they've never even said in public before. I loved her interview with Rick. I have listened to the first three episodes and have enjoyed all of them. Melani is a great interviewer and seems to have that rare quality of making her subjects feel at ease and safe. I find a lesson in each episode I have listened to. I am not single and have been married for over 30 years, but there is value in her stories that can be learned by all - not just the single people.

Melani is an extraordinary interviewer and I love love love listening to her voice. She also has an awesome sense of humor in dealing with some of the subjaect matter which makes me excited to hear more!

I listened to this podcast sevral times. Melani has a great voice and she and Rick "play off" each other very well. Amidst the humor, my perspective changed and I realized how lucky I've been and how grateful I am to be in a "break your heart" kindof relationship. Melani is amazing and her articles always leaving me thinking about life a little differently.

The dating stories will have you on the floor laughing. And you can tell they are real. It is like Melani's blog came to life. BTW she has a great, sexy voice. Who knew?

I liked the Rick interview very much. Made me laugh. I am single too but much older. Still, I would like to have that "break your heart" relationship once before I am too old to see it coming. Keep these interviews up. Melani. I look forward to the next one.
