I’ve just started watching X-Files and I love it so much. I love the bond between Mulder and Scully. This podcast is such a great companion to the show. Keep up the great work!

I don’t see how you could love the X-Files and not like this podcast. Great discussions on pretty much every episode. However, if you are listening along while watching the show for the first time, beware of major spoilers sprinkled throughout.

Most informative and all inclusive look at the x file including THE MOST behind the scenes interviews.

I’ve had multiple major plot points spoiled in just the first 6 episodes of this podcast. Why is it so hard to find an X Files podcast that doesn’t spoil the show? I just wanted to follow along with a podcast as I watch the show but it seems no one has any respect for spoilers. I’m done with this show. It’s taken away so much of the magic from my first watch through. I’m so disappointed.

Now it’s a zombie pod hosted by zombie people talking about zombie seasons of The X-Files.

Just getting into this podcast. I am enjoying it so far. I hate when a rewatch podcast quits in the middle, happy to see this one is getting close!

It’s tremendously hit or miss. The shuffling of hosts and lack of structure means you get a real mixed bag. The episode about Post Modern Prometheus had almost nothing to do with the episode. Which is a shame! One of the best episodes, just kind of ignored so we can listen to a discussion about genetic engineering of fruit. This is what happens when you hand the reigns over to someone with their own “fun” ideas about what the format should be. It was almost like she had never listened to the podcast. Or was trying to do a different podcast altogether. BIG SWING AND A MISS.

I watched xfiles from the very beginning in the 90’s and was completely obsessed. I am a little late to the party as far as xfiles podcast but this is my absolute favorite. Skinner gets the respect he deserves here 😬.

Tried a bunch of X-Files podcasts to accompany my latest rewatch, this is by far the best one I’ve found!

Tony is a wonderfully affable host who is immensely knowledgeable about the show, and his co-hosts are also fantastic. They keep things fun and light, but are also really analytical and thoughtful. It’s a great podcast.

I used to loved this show when I was a teen and I still enjoy the show. Even I now love the supernatural it’s also awesome:) and my favorite was always mulder. I do ship him with scully and she is awesome but at first I started watching the show cause of David playing mulder.

The X Cast is an insightful, intelligent and entertaining podcast. Every episode makes me think of my favorite show in an entirely new way. The awesome hosts, guests, and interviews make me look forward to every new discussion.

I love this podcast - it's insightful, humorous and serious all at the same time. You can tell Tony and everyone involved really love this show. I'm catching up on back episodes and can't wait till the new ones arrive. (And there is very little extreme shippery-talk, which I appreciate!)

The X-Cast does a great job of catering to the needs of X-Files fans on every level. The topics are always interesting, the opinions always insightful and there's even room for some humor. It's a great way to spend 30 minutes with like-minded fans.

I stumbled upon this Podcast as a recent, more casual Xfiles fan. The episode reviewed was a middle of season 2 and since then I have been HOOKED! Tony is such a good host and I thoroughly enjoy what he has to say. The co-hosts are all very fun to listen to and are incredibly knowledgeable (thanks for all the info, Darren!). In anticipation of season 11, this show did a PodWatch discussing every single episode and movie — amazing! I looked forward to listening every day. I loved listening to every host/co-host. I feel like I’ve gotten to know them as Xfiles fan and a person. ALSO! Tony and the gang are really interactive on social media - especially Twitter and Facebook. There was recently a contest to see what the top favorite episode of the show was (lots of fun!). Do yourself a favor and start listening to this podcast! Can’t wait for what’s next in store!

I stumble across this show on iTunes and was instantly hooked. The knowledge, passion, and guests on this show rival some of the largest shows out there. It never gets tedious and makes the show fresh even though it's decades old. Love it. Rinse. Repeat.

There is nothing more astounding than realizing your obsession with a long defunct TV show is shared with many other people the world over. This interest in the X-Files led to the comic series and TV revival last year. For anyone out there like me that wants a regular dose of X-Files discussion, look no further than Tony Black’s excellently produced X-Cast! Not only does he do the standard episode commentaries going behind the scenes and history with a rotating guest host, he dives into other areas of fandom like hosting X-Files book authors, creators, and spotlights on X-Files beyond the TV. This is a professional podcast, well edited, fun, and researched. I’m happy to have the X-Files back in my life.

There are plenty of X-Files podcasts out there, but what makes this one stand out is the quality of interviews and the in-depth discussion of the show. I love the 5 questions the interviewer asks because the answers vary so widely and it really prompts some fantastic insights into the greatest television show of all time. I'm always anxiously awaiting the next episode!

Tony and his recurring guest hosts do a great job talking The X-Files every week here on The X-Cast. Having most recently completed reviewing Season 1 as well as the 2016 Revival Event Series/Season 10, the X-Cast is now starting to review Season 2 and will continue to review the entire X-Files series and possibly its spin-offs. I'm very excited to see where the X-Cast goes as they move foreward in talking about all things X. One of my favorite things about the X-Cast is how deep the show goes into each individual episodes, talking about the mythology connections, character motivations, specific scenes that worked and others that didn't, etc. Tony loves to dig into each episode and exhume whatever talking points he can in order to shed new light on an episode, regarless if it's beloved or hated. I'm proud to be apart of the X-Cast as I have recently started writing for the podcast's new blog, and cannot wait to be on the show with Tony one day and talk about all things X. As a fellow podcaster myself I can't help but to appreciate the huge undertaking that X-Cast has begun. This is going to be a fun ride.

XPhiles... this is your podcast! Tony Black and his guests are great! You can tell he's a true fan and his knowledge about the series, and his insight, is unparalleled. He takes it episode by episode and offers analysis and discussion on the themes, plots and characters. And it's so well-made! You feel you're right there in the room listening to them. I discovered this podcast a month ago, and am loving every episode. Tony and his guests delve deep into each episode of the show, providing great commentary and insight. The production quality is fantastic, as well. If you like Kumail Nanjiani's The X-Files Files, you'll love The X-Cast.

The X-Cast is an awesome show. Being an X-Files fan, I really love the breakdown of an episode during discussion. Tony Black brings up good points about the series that will make you think and sometimes laugh. Also, I like that the episode title of the X-Files is in the title, so I can watch the episode then listen to the podcast.
