Intelligent and informed conversation backed up with solid analytic information all about this hockey team. Told from two fans that are honest yet hopeful about the Sabres now and in the future. Very entertaining interaction and s must listen for real fans of the Blue and Gold aka Black and Red !

Overall great content and analysis for numbers/analytically inclined hockey fans. A few things I would change/improve: -Anthony has a speaking quirk where he says “, right?” after about 50% of his sentences. -more consistency with the episodes being released. Life happens though and that leads to random long gaps between episodes. -could really do without the guessing games at the end of the episodes. Maybe fine during the off-season but a brief review of other teams in the league to pay attention to or interesting players to watch would be more informative than playing 20 questions about old Sabres players.

Better than Duff and Biron

Look, I pay to subscribe to Chad and Anthony’s content and it’s completely worth it. Their analysis and discussion of analytics is great but really what sets them apart is their sense of humor. Along with their strong and unspoken lust for each other.

Podcast is pretty good. I can’t deal with the constant skipping/lag.

Love listening to this podcast and find myself constantly checking each week for the next episode. Also best intro music!! Only wish it was updated more often especially in the offseason.

My favorite weekly Sabres pod (even when the team/coach/front office makes me want to pull my hair out). I love the mix of analytics and eye test, plus who doesn’t love a reminder that the Sabres have wasted years of Eichel’s career 😭

Moved to Atlanta a few years ago originally from Buffalo- love this podcast and look forward to it every week. Good and fair insight and the new Amerks content is great for me. Keep up the great work !

Being a Sabres fan living in Illinois, having Beyond the Blade brings me back into the Sabres fandom and I love it! It's great to be able to tweet a question or suggestion at the guys, and get an answer. So glad I got into podcasts and found this one, because this is a show I look forward to every week.

This is a pretty good podcast. The guys seem knowledgable and are usually entertaining. I can't give them 5 stars though, based upon their most recent episode where one of the guys had them finishing third in the Atlantic Conference for the 2016-17 season...THIRD! Over Boston, Montreal, Detroit, etc... I get that this is a "hometown" podcast, that the Sabres have a lot of good, young talent, and will only improve next year but come on. You can be hometown without being complete homers. This team may make a push for a wild card spot this year but they are still a year or two away from being a top 3 team in the division. Keep up the good work but dial down the homer meter a notch or two.
