    Disappointing
Infertility is not a mindset issue. This was an extremely tone deaf and cruel conversation.
  • phillygalpal
    harmful and insensitive
harmful to anyone who is TTC and struggling with infertility. Also their religion beliefs support their politics beliefs (MAGA)

    Shannon Ford Ep
The wet blankets in the comments are so boring. This episode was so refreshing, honest, and REAL. Hilarious and the chemistry between Lauryn and Shannon was so fun to listen to.

I’m glad you haven’t had to experience a miscarriage, Lauryn

    Shame on Lauryn
Her take on infertility and miscarriages is disgusting and harmful. I feel for her friends and loved ones who have walked the hellish path of infertility and/or pregnancy loss and now know this arrogant woman thinks she is somehow above it all.

Please Do Not Listen To This
This has got to be the most vapid, useless podcast I’ve ever heard. That is an hour of my life I will never get back over the worst, misogynistic, uninformed and frankly dangerous takes. This garbage is exactly why women feel the way they do about themselves. Stop platforming weirdos like this, for the love of all things good.

    Lacks empathy
Lauryn lives in her own privileged bubble. A bit of empathy would go a LONG way especially regarding sensitive topics like infertility. We are happy you were lucky Lauryn with all your pregnancies but the lack of compassion is truly and deeply astonishing. Take a look outside yourself once in a while and do better.

    giant infomercial
Updating to add : snake oil!!! These people are MAGA mouthpieces. I’m unsubscribing from everyone DM. I hope some of the good creators can get away somehow every single interview now is to push a product that their guest is shilling (whether it’s a new brand, product, book, etc). I am bored by it at this point. they are also lightly pushing religion for some reason now, this was a very distinct difference I noticed starting as soon as we got into the new year this year. it started with brief mentions and has been increasing to have Christianity as the central theme of their interviews. I’m open to diverse beliefs but solely incorporating Christianity as their spiritual vantage point is not diverse. speaking of which, most of their guests are white/wealthy which is giving me the ick. I’m bored. also I fully admit this is petty that I’m hanging onto this but I can’t get over the time about a year ago that Lauryn mispronounced “Jaci” (she said “Jackie” to introduce her) — who not only was their interview guest that day but also has a podcast signed with dear media… 🤮 these two used to feel relatable… It has just become increasingly clear to me that they have no unique talent and got to where they are now by leveraging both work ethic and then just jumping off their familial wealth, which helped get them started in multiple business ventures. who care about the skinny confidential, I’m bored.

    Ignorant and misogynistic
Lauren should be embarrassed by her takes. This podcast spreads dangerous misinformation, and it’s truly sad how much of a bubble the hosts live in.

Lauryn, girl, come on. I’m so glad you don’t struggle with infertility and miscarriages but your listening audience does. You basically told us that if we wished it hard enough it wouldn’t happen and there’s a “blockage.” I’ve forgiven you before for being out of touch before but not this time.

    Love!
This podcast is always interesting and entertaining. Love the way they aren’t afraid to have back to back contradictory guests- they’re just all about interesting convos.

    Dangerous and Ignorant
These people are super scary. Please do not aspire to be this level of delusional. They are modern day snake oil salesmen who endanger people who are so desperate for guidance they’d make medically harmful decisions. They sell useless over priced plastic and dangerous uninformed propaganda - that’s it!

    Missing the mark
Used to be a huge supporter. The episode with Shannon ford was not it. Your “ there is a fixation on miscarriages” really misses the mark. I’m sorry someone else’s sad story causes you anxiety, lucky for you that you didn’t have to experience it. There are so many other things that can still go wrong… so hopefully your story doesn’t turn into one that can cause others “ anxiety.”

    Ugh
Used to be my number one podcast. It’s a disaster now. Every guest gets worse when you don’t think it can. The medical medium, pookie and Jett, Shannon fords episode. God. They tell the same stories over and over and give the same ridiculous privileged advice. Lauryn is a giant pick me girl, I can’t even stand to listen for 5 minutes anymore.

    In my regular podcast rotation
I truly do not understand the hate podcasters get. TSC is one of the podcasts I listen to couple times a month Do I agree with all their guests no—and guess what I do not listen to those episodes. Recently I was convinced I would not get through episode with a certain guest—but guess what that episode I was enthralled Another guest I stopped listening after 3 minutes Was taught by my parents differing opinions are important.

    Shannon ford episode
I agree with Lauren’s mindset about getting pregnant or not. But having a particular mindset and the social content you consume does not change your egg health so I think it’s important to keep your pulse on both. Just because you “say you want to get pregnant” which is what she is implying, doesn’t directly change whether or not your eggs feel the same.

    The downfall
I used to love this podcast but it’s truly taken a turn. The medical medium episode was the last straw for me. So wild and uninformative.

Give Someone Else a Turn to Talk
The first, and only, episode I listened to was the one with Pookie and Jett. The hosts of the show, whoever they are, made it all about them. Ask the questions and then let your guests talk.

    Used to love…
This used to be one of my go to podcasts, but it has taken such a disappointing turn. Conspiracy theories and/or guests just shilling products. It’s a bummer.

    Amazing Podcast!
The variety of this podcast is only one of the great things about it. I really enjoy the mix of perspectives as well as the diverse topics!

    Alt right pipeline for women
So disappointed with how this pod has changed. I could ignore the antivax comments here and there but since trump won they’re all out maga freaks.
  • PrincessPeach81
    Cringe
The amount of times Michael interrupts Lauryn is ridiculous. I feel so bad for her and it just makes him look stupid. It was annoying at first but now I see it’s a greater reflection of his misogynistic bias. Do better please.

    Dumb & dumber
Anti Vax MAGA Qanon level right wing trash on a lifestyle LARP. This pod will make you dumber because they are so very dumb. Platforming grifters because they themselves are grifters. Like, Medical Medium is a liar grifter. You can tell because he calls himself “medical medium”, which is insane. These hosts took their own pod pill and now are pilled to the gills. It’s strange and unhealthy. They might make you strange and unhealthy, too, with how far they continue to spiral. Don’t go down the rabbit hole with them! It’s isolating and dark down there!

    Piers Morgan
The Piers Morgan interview was excellent. Hearing from someone from his generation and experience was a breath of fresh air. He is clearly intelligent..his ability to weave a story, answer questions, while also providing entertaining advice reminds me to seek out people with his experience and worldview. Great listen!

    Got worse over time
I’ve been enjoying this show for about two years until lately it turned insufferable. Politically one-sided and unjustified health and education conspiracies. I noticed that I’m getting upset while listening to it, so it’s probably time to look for another show. And quite honestly they are spreading ultra right ideas which only shows their lack of formal education.

Podcasts aren’t what they used to be
Instead of podcasts that used to be genuine conversation that wasn’t a pure ad, where you could bring up different points and perspectives, it’s just an ad for the guest. Medical medium episode shockingly bad- he said you have parasites and you have gut issues + Lauren acted like he was a GOD. It seemed obvious he was a total scammer or at the least, definitely not a medium but may echo some health info. Like Rogan, they are becoming an echo chamber of their own thoughts where most convos go back to their recent opinions on everything. Take a break and get a fresh perspective

    meh
I used to love this podcast and have been an avid listener for years. Now it just feels like an ongoing infomercial on what you should buy and how you get a special listener only discount. I checked one time to see and most websites who sell product give the same 10-20% discount off first time buyers. It’s been disappointing and I am over the buy this product and powder and serum and mushroom coffee….its draining.

    MAGA pod
Listened to TSC religiously for years and even got quite a few friends on it. In 2020, I noticed things started to get weird with the constant anti-vax talk and conspiracies. Took a few years but this is now a full-on MAGA pod, which is strange since these two used to be so firm on diverse opinions. My guess is MAGA guests are the only people willing to be associated..

    BRAIN ROTTING CONSPIRACISTS
This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed a podcast, but this last episode was too much. I’ve been a subscriber to this show since it came out almost 10 years ago. I’ve listened to every single episode, many episodes multiple times. I used to take what they said as gospel. I would look forward to episodes releasing and listen to it first thing in the morning. Now, I find it hard to trust anything they say or anyone they have on. It’s gone far past the point of them being “open-minded.” It’s honestly been sad and disappointing to listen to their brains slowly rot in real time. Most of their guests are certified freaks just brought on to play doctor to Lauryn personally these days. It’s provided no substance for months. They’re full blown fear mongering, money grabbing conspiracists and they couldn’t care less about their audience. I pray for their children.

    Medical medium? Come on
I used to really like this podcast but lately it has become over the top fear mongering. If we listened the advice of all of their guests we would become preppers living alone in the wilderness. 3 minutes into the Medical Medium I had to stop- this guy is bananas crazy and I thought they would vet their guests a little better than this. Bring back the old days of skincare, parenting, fashion, and just living our best lives without being afraid of every single thing.

    Judgey and out of touch
I used to be obsessed but it’s become a lot of fear mongering opinions stated as fact. Seems like they’re trying to get engagement by rage baiting us with the manifesting their pregnancy, raw milk, and their takes on “curing mental illness” with movement.

    Honest Review + Suggestion
I honestly really enjoy this podcast. In a world where we are fed content and algorithms that are generally geared towards our beliefs and views, I think it’s important to hear various sides, ideas, thought processes, leaders, etc. For that I genuinely give the podcast 5 stars. I appreciate the questions and thoughtful nature put into the list of questions asked. I know Lauryn is mindful to ask different questions because it’s genuinely obnoxious listening to the same guest on two different pods answering the same exact questions with the same wording or story. The one piece I would say makes me take it down a star is the anxiety I start to feel listening to the pod too much.. I get overwhelmed with the stark contrast between guests trying to sell products or supplements that contradict or even cover similar areas. I feel like I’m constantly running to pages to buy this supplement, this skin care product, repurchase an entire shelf of cleaning products. I would appreciate if there was a way Lauryn and Micheal, you could put out maybe a monthly newsletter or him and her LTK link? with the products you’ve actually tried and repurchased? Maybe one for the ladies, one for the men, one for the family(or kids)… And if there’s an entire line, maybe linking one of the top products, unless you genuinely use and repurchase the entire line? Even if it’s gifted, coming from a mindset of if it wasn’t, would I spend my paycheck on this? Or if I was going on a private island and couple pick one for the next year, what would it be.. Just a thought.. I genuinely appreciate the wealth of information, but can find myself getting frozen and stuck in decision fatigue trying to filter what’s worth it and what’s not… without being wasteful or putting 40 capsules in my body and 20 different serums that combine and cause a chemical burn.

    Great but needs work
Great guests and interesting questions but Lauryn needs to quit yelling and interrupting the guests to talk about herself. You can tell it annoys the guests at times. Other than that it’s a great pod!

    The podcast we all need
I love the variety of topics, no matter what the subject matter is, every episode leaves you feeling inspired and gives you good food for thought, to say the least. I love the dynamic between Lauryn and Michael. They complement each other very well and both ask excellent questions. My husband also loves the show. It has so much to offer, it’s entertaining, educational, motivational and relatable. There’s something for everyone!

    Holy gender reveal Lauryn!
I love your podcast! I listen every week. I think I caught a “he” in the episode about the baby formula. Congratulations on either gender however! You can delete this if you need to 🫶🏼

    Disappointing
I really wanted to like this podcast, but I just can’t get into it. Nearly every episode feels like the hosts using their guests for personal medical advice rather than focusing on meaningful discussions.

I look forward to this every week
I just wish I had been listening for years and not just the last few months. I love everything they have done and all the things they talk about. Thank you for the questions you ask that I would personally ask!! Quickly becoming my all time fav thing to listen too.

I really love this podcast! I look forward to creative interviews and guests across a variety of topics - Lauryn and Michael ask great questions, which is really an art. I like the crazy stories and (sometimes) triggering and fascinating topics. Don’t change your approach for a subset of listeners that get uncomfortable with things that don’t follow their beliefs- PLEASE. I like it all!! I will stay the interviews have started to sometimes feel like one big infomercial, and sometimes the interviews are more sales pitch oriented vs informative, but I still listen anyway!

    Used to enjoy
I used to really enjoy this podcast, but lately it feels like they are just focusing on the same topics over and over again, just with a different guest. Sadly, it’s getting kind of boring. I think they’re doing themselves a disservice by releasing content a few times a week. They would be better off releasing one episode a week to diversify and spread out the content.
