    Very helpful!!
We’re young pastors of a large church and even though we grew up in ministry there’s still so many things we’re learning and figuring out how to navigate! This podcast is SO helpful and full of wisdom!

    Transformative
Have been listening for years. Amazed how the podcasts seem so timely for me. Have read a few of their books. Centered on Jesus. Deep discipleship. Biblical as well as soaked in rich church history. Nothing negative to say! Also love that they consistently offer free resources that are great tools for growth. I use the daily office and prayer of examen on a weekly basis. Extremely thankful for Pete and Geri’s story and their ministry!

    Incredible Resource for Leaders!
I am constantly impressed by the depth of wisdom that is shared on this podcast. I have looked and looked for discipleship and leadership resources that are organized and relevant. There is a lot out there but it’s often cheesy or not well put together. The EH team and Pete knock it out of the park for relatability and application in all of their resources. I feel like I should pay for the content, it’s that good! So grateful! This resource helps me not feel so alone and isolated in my thoughts on discipleship in a world trying to constantly work against the way of Jesus. Thank you, Thank you!! Please keep sharing- you’re encouraging MANY out here who are creating disciples who make disciples. This podcast is a lone voice in a sea of talking heads.

Game changer for the new and old generations of church leaders
I’m a 20 year old Bible college student in my second year of schooling, and I cannot tell you how life changing this podcast has been for me. I just love how simple— yet hard to grasp for so many (including myself)— the message is… BE WITH JESUS, and He will make you whole! You have helped me to truly understand what it means to rest in the presence of God, and to not be so work-minded. Thank you so much for being faithful with what God’s given you.

    Inspiring words
While I’m not a church leader, I’m consistently inspired by Pete’s pearls of wisdom. The invitation and permission (from God) to slow down and take inventory of one’s life is the kind of Good News we all need today. Thank you Pastor Pete🙏🏽

    The Church needs to change
After being in the church for over 50+ years, I believe the church needs a radical change. Sex addiction, conflict, shallow discipleship, and lack of biblical principles creates a meaningless religion. Pete, I praise God for your dark night of the soul. Your dark season has given us so much hope. True peacemaking is so lost. We reached out to a pastor to help us bring peace to our family. He shirked his duty because, “we weren’t apart of his church.” So many believers are spiritualizing their pain away. Pastors are I’ll equipped and sometimes refuse to learn. Thanks my friend

    Really amazing!
So grateful to Pete for this podcast and the EHR course. It has been a huge help to my emotional maturity and in following Jesus practically.

    Great for any leader!
I’m not a leader in a church anymore but I appreciate this podcast so much! Pete has given language to so many things and I use the theology of limits, sabbath, rest, using God to run from God, overspiritualizing, and “being” before “doing” soooo much and have seen so much fruit in the lives of the Homeschooling Entrepreneur Moms I coach.

    Please don’t ever stop Pete!!
I am in my late twenties and I cannot tell you how blessed I’ve been by your teachings and wisdom Pete! I was gifted the Emotionally Healthy Leader at a time that I was far from being emotionally healthy. This book and this podcast have changed my life and I believe, have saved me from so much self inflicted turmoil. Thank you for your obedience and endurance to be faithful to what God has tasked you to do!

Thankful for the reminders of truth on this podcast
Pete, Thankyou for consistently going back to the foundation piece for all areas of leadership- the blocking and tackling of personal growth in the word, pursuit of prayer and seeing the immense value of God when pace is healthy and not hurried. Muchas Gracias!

A Desperate Answer For Our Time
This podcast and ministry is hitting all the deep places we miss in our busy, western way of thinking and living. It’s given me such hope and direction...helping me move towards my grief and loss, with open hands on what Jesus has for me there. I just keep going back to this teaching over and over. I could marinate here for a long time! May God use this in our churches!

Never heard pastor talk this way
I’ve been swimming upstream seemingly alone for 30 years trying to find emotionally healthy spirituality. By now, I’ve figured it out and teach it to my patients (I’m a licensed mental health provider in private practice), translating the science of mental health into Christian terms yo make it more palatable for my patients. I do even deeper work in my office, but that’s my specialty...have you read “Unburdering Souls at the Speed of Thought”? That’s similar to what things look like in my office :). I’ve literally never heard a pastor talk like you until I came across John Mark Comer, who led me to you. I don’t feel so alone anymore. I love God deeply and have been meeting Him deeply in my journal since I was suicidal in my teens, I’m 40 now. I wish you existed back then, glad you exist and speak boldly now. Thank you. Again, thank you.

    Thank you!
I have been following EHS for about 15 years now. I just praise God for the countless ways Pete and Geri and the team have encouraged, uplifted, convicted and been used by God to change and keep changing me to be more like our Savior! I am constantly encouraging people in my sphere of influence to read your books and listen to your podcasts! You are a gift to the Body! Thank you!

    Culture changing
Not quite sure how I would’ve spiritually survived this last year without this intensely life-giving podcast! The culture proposed is so opposite to the try-harder, pray-more (in a demanding way) lifestyle I was raised in and have been immersed in for the last 25 years. As I’m emerging and finding there is health and life “out here” in other parts of the Body of Christ, yours was one of the first voices I heard that gave me hope of another way. You lead the way out of a fear-based life, Into a love-based one. I’m sharing the podcast with everyone I can, and abundantly grateful for you and your work in the world!!

    EHS saved my marriage💜🙏🏼😊
This podcast is an amazing encouragement and support as we continue the journey to emotional healthy leadership! My husband and I traveled to NYC to an EHL conference a couple of years ago with a group of ministry couples. At that time, our marriage was at the end of many years of turmoil. I was ready to pull the plug on our life and ministry. Attending the conference and then coming home and doing the EHR studies with two other couples was the beginning of major change, healing, forgiveness and restoration for us. The good news is that we continue to follow he principles the best we can and our marriage, though not perfect, has been transformed for the better. Thank you for all you do to help us and so many on their journey💜

    Life changer
I found the EHS course after barely surviving cancer 6 years ago. The course has helped me learn to love Jesus with a strong healthy emotional and spiritual love.

So helpful and freeing for leaders!
This is hands down the best Christian leadership podcast I know. I pastor a church with between 85-90 people in attendance every week. I cannot even say how much the biblical wisdom and insight Pete shares every week have helped me! Not only has this insight helped me to come to terms with my own need for Christ to be formed in me first, but also has begun to set me free from the chains of performance driven cultural Christianity leadership mindset in the church. Thank you Pete (and Geri!) for all your hard work!

    Priceless mentoring
The EH Leader podcast has been one of my most valuable companions and encouragements in day to day ministry over the last two years! Each episode feels like you are sitting across from Pete at a local coffee house talking thru the highs, lows, joys and temptations of ministry life. I can’t recommend this podcast enough!

Learn to Abide and Be Transformed
Pete and Geri really speak from experience on what it means to let God transform you from the inside. This podcast teaches me to be an agent of change in a culture that is defined by “doing” rather than “being.” In a culture obsessed with external success, and watching Christian leaders sacrifice their own families and souls to “do God’s work,” it’s refreshing to hear leaders learn to lead out of their overflow of God’s love for them that can only be achieved by slowing down to abide in the love of Jesus.

    Excited to Dig In!
God has used this book to help me through a lot of unaware healthiness. Just found this podcast and really looking forward to hearing more! While listening to an episode, the only thing I would say is, please limit the amount of “uh” while speaking. 😉 Thank you for all you do!

Life changing podcast with practical wisdom
Love this podcast and the books that go with them. Very easy listen and practical lessons. Not the normal “church” teachings but rather pursuing emotional health to be healthy in every part of our lives. All biblical and backed by scripture.

    Practical and Engaging Leadership Principles
As a pastor at a megachurch I have found Pete Scazzero's podcast and books incredibly helpful. I have seen how maturity and emotional health can influence leadership towards success, or failure when it's not present. This podcast is the best resource out there I know for helping me fulfill God's plan for myself and his church!
