    Accessible and Awesome
A show that intelligently weaves tales of punk in a way that aficionados can admire and that novices can enter with open arms ready to learn about the well known and the lesser known angles of an evocative end of music. The episode on The Slits is one of the finest episodes pf podcasting in recent memory. Give it a shot, and be ready to get immersed.

Great podcast about a great time in music
I just found out about this podcast, but I’m hooked. I came of age listening to the Pistols, Stiff Little Fingers, Generation X and the rest. These podcasts allow me to peek into the nooks and crannies surrounding these great bands. Very informative and very well researched and produced. Nice job, mate! Update: I listened to the second long podcast about The Damned. It brought back memories of seeing them at the Whisky-a-go-go in Hollywood during the summer of 1979, when I was 20. It was either my first or second punk show. (I saw Nine Nine Nine play either the night before or the night after, also at the Whisky.) I was hooked. I remember Rat Scabies coming out, holding a beer, spitting into the audience and insulting them for some time before the rest of the band came out. I also remember Captain Sensible wearing these furry pants (like the bottom half of a Yeti costume) that must have been very hot and uncomfortable. Their complete disregard for “the rules” was truly inspirational. Between those two shows, I was hooked on punk rock and the LA scene.

    Rock On!
If you’re a fan of punk rock, if you know nothing about punk rock, if you’re looking for a fresh and new podcast to sink your teeth into: “Banned Biographies” is the podcast you’re looking for! This entertainingly biographical series, presented by host Tom Austin-Morgan, brings you an episodic chronicling of the genre and the musical groups who brought it to light and carried it into the phenomenon that is present in today’s musical world. Austin-Morgan’s years of podcasting experience (as one-half of the general interest podcast “Anywhere But Here” since 2014) are ever-present in this love-letter to the lesser-celebrated genre; his research into the episode’s topic thorough and educational, his love for the subject expressed through his narrative voice. Subscribe to this podcast immediately, don your combat boots and leather jacket, and be prepared to be transported to an era of sex, drugs, and scandals galore - and love every moment of the experience.
