Fun fact: Madison’s reunion dress was 4,700 to look like a character from beetle juice. 🙂

Love all your Podcasts, but this is the first Podcast where I tumbled for you. Bittersweet feelings of the end of Sweet T. But, I’ll continue listening to REALITY GAYS for my dose of laughter. KEEP GOING QUEENS!!!

I love y'all so so much. But as a black person it's so hard to listen to some of your takes. Poodle obviously has bias, you can hear it everytime he speaks on race. I physically cringe. The disjoint in conversation after some of his remarks makes me feel although Matt realizes it, but never calls him out. I don't expect much, but there is a complete lack of self awareness. I would be horrified to hear the microaggressions of LALO. Frankly I don't think you need to feature any shows with race relations until Poodle confronts his prejudices. It's a pattern and it's embarrassing when he thinks he's soooo cultured. Keep going Queens but keep away from topics you clearly don't care about.

The only thing that makes me laugh as hard as you two do is watching Don ski on repeat. You guys rock!

I was already a fan of Mattie & Poodle’s Reality Gays podcasts when I found out they recapped Southern Charm. They take a mediocre TV show and make the recap interesting. I also enjoy the insight they give into southern culture. Poodle’s impression of Austen and Mattie’s impression of Craig has me laughing every single time! And if you don’t think it’s funny , you might want to process that.

Straight male from the south.. and, I listen to this. Can’t turn me poodle... ! This show used to be awesome... Keep, Craig, Leva, bring back Cameran.. Cameran made the show fun... dump the rest... oh .. and keep shep always finds away to stick foot in his mouth.. straight out of S.C. Also, Danni has never looked healthy to me .. I think Kathryn, and Danni are powder friends.. not , talking about powder , or flour.. Madison1 is a mean little ...but, Austan deserves it... after buzz coming back Matt

I was dead set on not watching Southern Charm anymore but I couldn’t resist going to see what makeup and outfits Kathryn had on cause these two dragged her so hard! And please don’t listen to the people who don’t like it when you go off on tangents that’s my favorite part! I love all the crazy stories from back home and learning about your lives and hearing what makes you laugh. Those are the best parts and that’s what you two have that make this show great, you’re clearly bffs that crack each other up and get on each other’s nerves and that’s the part that always keeps me coming back!

This is a rebrand with a new host Jake instead of the original cast. “Southern Charm Afterbuzz” features all this content a year prior, plus... Matt Marr? Matt already said all this stuff on the original podcast. No fun to hear him pretend to learn who Eliza is for a second time, and even to talk about how he is shocked about stuff he already reported on previously in his other podcast by at least a year. So the show should be funnier and smoother considering it’s the second go round.

Hilarious. Their Austen impersonation has me rewinding every time! What am I going to do after SC ends? I’d live fir them to do more Bravo shows.

Guys, the VPL was barely discussed. We went through two attempts at the Sweet Tea theme song, finding a note on a piano, and discussing Paltrow in Marvel Movies. Some of us D pigs are hungry. Love you guys!

I can name you - “Poodle Pontificates”. It works for any of your shows. Poodle Pontificates: Sweet Tea. Poodle Pontificates: 90 Days. In this series, host Poodle uses tv shows to launch into his favorite topic - himself. Unfortunately his co-host Matt encourages him, so at every turn we hear about Poodles life, likes, dislikes, and judgements. Poodle is a life coach with excellent taste, and he’s here to teach you. The actual Southern Charms content is sometimes good, but it’s buried far too deep within the hosts’ egomaniacal ramblings and lectures. For anyone looking for alternatives in this space, there are many wonderful podcasting duos who talk about shows and without making the main topic themselves (Cray Cray, Watch What Crappens, Bored ‘n Bitchy, etc. come to mind).

I am obsessed with this podcast and cannot wait for your cross over episode with WWC! The chorus line reference? Thank you!!!

Matt and Jake are sassy and sweet! Whether it’s this podcast or the soon to be renamed 90 Day Gays you are guaranteed some laughs. What you probably won’t expect is the thoughtful dialogue filled with empathy. Hang in there Carl’s wife...you just might learn something!
