Their reviews are always timely. When there’s a movie currently in theaters that I’ve been wavering on seeing, their reviews come through at the right time. There are movies worth seeing in a theater vs with a group vs at home; MTR does a great job of articulating which settings are best for a given movie. I appreciate the perspectives from each of the hosts. MTR archives are also solid gold if you’re looking for movies to stream.

Listened to Ro and Brandon’s review of Talk to Me. Loved their deep dive, analysis, interpretation, perspectives on this movie. The two of them should do a podcast on just horror movies. They are fantastic!

Good podcast. Thorough reviews. Only one complaint.... Ro needs to stop talking over and interrupting the other co-hosts. It gets awkward and sometimes unbearable.

I’m new here but I came to listen the the Pieces of a Woman review and wish they would have talked more about the actually movie instead of the side bars about other movies. Maybe that’s their thing but I came for a review and not the extra commentary about other movies. Just a piece of advice from a newbie listen for the first time. Sorry.... just wanna be honest.

I've been listening to Movie Trailer Reviews for years now, and it's been fantastic to see how the reviews and reviewers have grown into creating one of my favorite podcasts. I look forward to the reviews every week, and I can't wait to watch the show and the network as a whole continue to grow.

Love these reviews. So much enthusiasm and humor mixed in with thoughtful conversations.

I do not go to see a movie before checking out this podcast and seeing what they think about the movie. I know I will get a clear and insightful review about the movie from Kriss, Dpalm, Ro, and Joy. I may not always agree with their take and end up seeing the movie anyways, which makes me love this show even more. They are very quick to acknowledge that people will see a movie they may not like overall and list the positive reason why someone like me would go see a movie like Gemini Man.

Whenever I’m unsure about a movie and whether it’s worth the time or money MTR always steers me in the right direction. Never have I regretted making a decision based on their recommendations. Their reviews are also always entertaining and relevant.

Love the addition of Ro and have always loved Joi. But really, everybody does excellent work on this podcast. Thank you for entertaining information about the movies I should see.

Gotta listen to the feedback here before picking out a new movie or it may end up being a bust. 10/10 spot on with the reviews.

Movie trailer reviews is just awesome because they actually take into consideration a lot of factors such as societal culture, directors, executives, and a lot of other behind the scenes stuff in addition to the on screen performances to give these sometime hilarious, yet brutally honest reviews.

Kriss and Phenom are incredible movie critics. They pay attention to detail and give honest critiques. Also love insanity check and where’s my 40 acres. Why isn’t 10 stars an option?

You’re not supposed to say this sort of thing when you’re an experienced expat but this has really been a life line of sorts back to the US POV on cinema since I’ve been in the UK and I’m just gonna take this opportunity to thank them for it.

Insanity Check is just one of the many shows from MTR. They give thoughtful analysis of the crazy world today. I hope they continue with it.

Quality movie reviews from the perspective of a poc!

I’ve been listening for a while and they always have a good critical reviews. They’re reviews are candid and they don’t always agree so I know it’s honest banter about the movie.

I love movie Trailer reviews and whenever I have a doubt about seeing a film I consult with this podcast. These guys and gals review movie with an eye for what the movie going audience like. They give your tentpole films the credit they deserve for being fun movies with heart like Endgame and give credit to indie films like sorry to bother you. Since discovering this podcast I never see a film without consulting the team at Movie Trailer Reviews.

I listen to Kriss and the crew to get their perspective on the latest movies. It's dope to hear passionate black folks review films and offer a uniue nuance that relates to me and my culture.
