    Very informative
I'm a Yank and thus suffer from an extremely inward and myopic news media. Before subscribing to Asia Rising a few years ago, I knew next to nothing about the intricacies of things like India's and China's water rights feuds and the stlil resonant effects of Thailand's recent coup. I learn something new everytime I listen, which is a terrific feeling. The various hosts through the series (usually the affable Matt Smith) do well to bring out insightful information from the various guests, and everything is conveyed in a way that is easy for a bloke like me to understand without being too simplified. Highly recommend.
