😁🙌🏻😁😁Very Helpful to Me and my betrayer partnerBe Broken Ministries, this podcast and their Gateway To Freedom weekend were exactly what I needed and they provided needed care for my betrayed wife as well. I love the grace-based approach that is so much more than just behavior management. You owe it to yourself to dig into this and partner with this ministry for your personal recovery and transformation and for your marriage and your wife as well.

Lover of Be BrokenBe Broken MinistriesThese podcasts and ministry I have recently become aware of and are helping me realign my mind and relationships as Gods chosen head of my family. Pornography use had isolated me from this role and objectified my relationships since a young age. God has brought this reality into the light so awareness, healing and restoration can take place. A sincere and deeply felt thank you for your efforts to reflect and teach God’s divine plan.

mre44The Truth About RecoveryI’m new to Jonathon and his podcast, but not new to recovery. He provides wonderful content and truths about recovery and healing. Audio production quality could use some improvement… especially the most recent episode with Mark Denison.

LvmyhbyEpisode 894 is a problem.I’ve been listening to Pure Sex Radio for quite awhile now. This episode placed entirely too much responsibility on the betrayed partner. It had very strong codependency undertones. She’s careful not to use that word, but the betrayed partner is called controlling, obsessed, ridiculous, rigid, too much etc. As a betrayed spouse, hearing phrases like, “It’s harder to be the addict in a lot of ways,” is not only offensive, but very damaging and potentially dangerous. I’d like to see it removed.

GobscottMajor helpI have made some heavy mistakes in my life. Thought there was no hope to change. I thought I was defective or a narcissist even. Johnathan and his testimony as well as this podcast has helped me come to Christ and change course in my life. I am saved by grace and now believe there is hope. I am grateful for this ministry and others like it. I can’t donate now but once I have more money I sure will.

8252ipodNothing new hereNothing new here common theme ultra conservative views which refuse to adapt or re-examine beliefs Oblivious to what is going on in the real world It’s always mixed in with plugs for some workshop They’re hosting for another income boost.

Lovesick No MoreKristin Cary interview, The Immanuel approachIt took about 15 minutes in for me to connect with this topic but once I did, I had to listen again, from the beginning, several times. It spoke directly to my heart and made me want to explore Kristin’s work to see how it can help me. I related to Jonathan’s perspective and loved his questions, and of course, Kristin’s answers. It grabbed me right where I am in my personal struggle and gave me hope that I can heal and recover if I can just sustain this fresh motivation to do the necessary work. Thank you so much, Jonathan and Kristin!

Rluna1@NYCHelpful and EncouragingI love the heart and the vulnerability that the hosts bring to the podcast. I try to be the most ethical and recovered person I can and my heart feels a lot of trust and respect for Jonathan and Mr. Cervantes.

jefferWinSALight for me, an recovering addictThis podcast is pure spiritual milk for me. I listen and feel the emotions well up from years (45+) of using pornography and the seemingly impossible task of being freed from the bondage. I’ve been in recovery for 5 years, and there is a inverse correlation between my thought life and listening. When I faithfully listen, I am more deliberate to bring every thought captive to Christ. When I go a week or two without listening, my thought life goes off track and become more susceptible to a relapse. This podcast is essential as a means to incorporate recovery material into their faith walk through sexual addiction recovery. It has deepened my relationship with Christ, always pointing me back to the only One that can truly heal me. God bless you for producing such a life changing Podcast!!

djb2260Using the Internet the right way!!The internet has to be one of the most significant developments on our lifetime. The problem is that Satan has found his way to the underbelly of its intended use. Thank God for BeBroken to develop a bold approach with Pure Sex radio to use the internet for the greater good!!

Trail_chic42Lifted my spirit during early days of recoveryTo start, let me say I’m a woman who is a sex and love addict. In the very early days of my recovery I was a sponge soaking up everything I could! If I couldn’t get to an S-group meeting I’d go to another 12-step meeting, ANY one just to get grounded with a recovery community and to listen and learn. I was searching for information online and came across Be Broken. It was by men and for men but I was having a very difficult time finding anything just for women. With every single podcast I learned so much! I could relate to EVERYTHING!! I’d sit with a notebook at take notes, rewind, listen again, and write. I even emailed Jonathan and shared a bit of my story with him and I felt SO welcomed into the tribe. I have been supporting this ministry now for over 4 years! Yes, that means I’ve been in active recovery that long, thank you, Jesus!! I continued to do so even while unemployed during COVID lockdowns because, to me, this ministry is THAT important. I attend some meetings where I’ve been the only women for months or even years and I share about this ministry with everyone! Sorry to be so long but I could truly go on and on about how I have been helped spiritually, mentally and emotionally by this ministry (well, even physically because I used to walk with ear buds and listen! Lol!). So again, thank you so much!

BitnJust in timeI just wanted to thank you for what you're contributing to those of us out here struggling with our personal demons. I'm just coming to grips with the magnitude of the impact this has had on my life. The amount of time and energy wasted pursuing this false satisfaction can be staggering. I can only imagine where my life would be right now had I seen the light earlier. Now I'm dedicating my life to put this behind me and fully embrace my family, friends and career. Please keep up the good work. God Bless!
